Still wouldn't play the game though.

Sorry but FFXI part 2 won't get me. Honestly I think its a wasted effort to even think of bringing this west (unless they take tips from WoW)

Actually I was referring more to FFXI, the other FF MMO, in that your options for making a human where white, white, white, white, white, and if you were male, one Asian guy. You don't create your own characters in the other recent FF games.

My lady and I will probably be playing XIV.

We may end up getting another PS3 for it.

So be mediocre and later add in PvP that wasn't intended to be the focus and bogs the game down in Arena's? No thanks. Seriously though they did look at what is out there and have made changes. It will be more solo and smaller group friendly for starters.

I haven't really heard to much about XIII yet. I know one of the summons is a car.

That is how we play XI, but I think XIV will kill my PC. It would be cheaper to get a second PS3, as opposed to upgrading/replacing the PC.

Although I should do so in any case, as the PS3 would require a second HDTV.

Unless the requirements are nutty I should be able to play it on PC. I hope the have a benchmark like they did for XI.
