So, I'm curious about the models for AT-43. Are they soft, rubbery plastic like collectible games (Star Wars miniatures, HeroClix) or harder plastic like GW products?

I think they're in between. A bit more solid than WotC, but not as brittle as GW.

Generally, I'd agree with Armydillo978. More specifically, they're about the same as the larger/bulkier ("huge") D&D minis.

This, but some parts/armies(Karman bodies and weapons, Cog weapons, vehicles) are a bit harder than others.

Yep...that's right. I found my UNA pieces abit less "agile" than my Kharman pieces. But, on the whole, I'd like them better than my WotC or GW ones.

Inbetween is a por description, minitures, even infantry ones can be a mix of different plastics.
what you need to know is that mostly they got it right. Things that break are made out of bendy plastic, thengs that are slid is made out of rigid higher definition plastic.
bendy blades can be a problem, but At-43 minitures rarely break.
There are exc eptions, incuding knee caps, and virtually every Wing Troopers exhaust flame.
