I found this on Coolminiornot:

Limited to 750 castings only. This would be a cool heroine in most Sci Fi systems, any want a female Imperial Guard......she has to fir the bill!

Here is a link to the McVey website and some more images of the sculpt:

These guys (Studio McVey) normally do fantasy type miniatures, so this is the first of their Sci Fi minis....I think its really good. I've ordered two....

I wonder what they'll be doing next?

My God that's a beautiful sculpt.

Would she look too big next to Imp G?

If she is 35mm tall on a 40mm base, she would be WAY too big for 40K.

She's a female Ogryn. Which explans why they keep reproducing.

The miniature itself is not attached to the scenic base, so by mounting her (no pun intended!) on a normal 35mm base she'll probably come down in size!

Plus, a typical IG is around 32-33mm tall anyway, so she'd be out by a couple of mm at best. I'd say she'd fit with IG ok.

Luckily for me, I'm not buying her to fit into any particular army, just for painting and display purposes, but to those who do care, looking at the sculpt, I'd say its worth a go anyway!

Is this a Mike McVey sculpt? I loved his dioramas, painting guides and general modelling articles, but not so much his miniatures (Lemartes and a 40k scale Kal Jerico) weren't that refined. Truth be told, he was an all-round ace except in miniature sized sculpting.

Very glad to see he«s doing well, the guy was an inspiration to me and I'm sure thousands of others too.

I'd get one if I had the ability to paint worth a damn.

as soon as the preview email hit my inbox, a few days before general release, i ordered 1...
she got here in time for christmas...

beautiful sculpt, but may be too big to mix with guard for some people...
off the base, she stands the same height as my Lord Commisar...
the girl however is very hunched, and her proportions are a bit bigger than the cadians...
she would make a good Catachan gunner, bit is still a bit larger...

i'm looking forward to painting minie up like a marine from Aliens...

by the way, i have all the minis they have released so far, and they are even better in real life than in the pics....
i highly recomend them for painters...
the detail is crisp and amazing, and each mini is unique from the general range of minis we see in 32mm scale...

cheers
jah

Mindreader! That right there is a perfect Harker. And being a bit tall for the bill ain't a bad way to explain walking around with a squad support weapon.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Really nice details and proportions, but I can't get past the pose. She looks like she's been caught in the middle of slipping, about to fall on her ass- er, demolition charge.

Looks like a very nice sculpt, lots of paintable detail.

I'm not a fan of the "skinny girl, big gun" genre, tho. Also, her gear, particularly the ammo drum, have sagged so low, she can't realistically move without getting her legs pounded on.

The one thing throwing me off is that because of the goo sticking to her front boot it looks like she is backstepping and about to trip over her ammo belt.

Wow that is very nice.

If only it was warhammer scale then she could be a female version of the guards gunnery sergeant Harker.

Amazing mini, I wish that was 40k sized :/. It's nice to see such detail on a female face.
