I just got started with 40k I got the AoBr set and now I want to expand on my orks. I got about 35$ (Give or take a few bucks) at the moment to spend and Im not sure what to spend it on, I was thinking on getting Burna/Loota box and a Gretchin Mob or instead of the Burna/Loota getting Storm Boyz but I also was thinking of just getting a Wartrukk instead. I want to build a 1500 point army quickly as that is the standard game at my FLGS. Im not sure if this helps anything but everything Warhammer at my FLGS is 10% - 15% off. Thanks in advance.

Pat that askala, O-H-I hate this stupid state

See if you can find someone selling another half of an AoBR of orks since you ought to be able to get them for that price.

Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, its just a freight train coming your way!

2 loota boxes can provide you with extra bits to gear up 8 ork boys.

1 box of storm boys can provide you with enough bomb / stick bomb bits to make 5+ tank hunters

they are both great buy , better than wartrukk imo , though i do love grots , so get 1 box for fun xD

$35? Buy the Nobs kit and some grotz...

The Nobs kit is an awesome buy, with great bits to customize both the nobs and your existing Orks...

I'd also reccomend any WHFB Artillery Kits. They are a great way to convert Big Gunz for Grots...

By Tank hunters do you mean Tankbusters like the ones they sell or something different? So would have enough for Stormboyz and the Tank Hunters or what?

No matter where you buy the box from , it'll contain the SAME content. So yes it contains the bases.
Unless you are specifically buying it 2nd hand , opened box , which the seller is obligated to say if it isnt complete box content.

Oops i meant tank bustas. And the grenade / melta bomb arms from storm boys can be used as tank busta bombs.
Here is sample of my kit bashed tank busta:

Nope the only thing that doesn't come with bases are the tanks etc, even kanz/deff dreads come with them in the boxes now. As a fellow ork player, I have to agree with Vindicator#9 on the nobz and the AoBR boyz.

The nobz box is a real fun kit, had a blast modelling mine, my only gripe was not enough PKs for my mob of 4 (although there are suitable bionics that can be used instead, I just didn't want to use them) and has plenty of spare gubbinz for pimping out your AoBR nobz/boss. Combine this with another 20-40 AoBR boyz from ebay to flesh out your troops choices (20 boys are useless above 500pt games, thats 2 mobs of ten to make your list legal to begin with and they will die very quickly) I usually take 60 boys in mobs of 20 minimum for anything between 750pts-1500pts and at least 80 for anything over (IT'S A PROPPA NUMBA OF LADZ ).

Burna/Loota box is a pretty good buy. You get 5 orks and enough extra bits to convert another 6 or so.

I'm not like them, but I can pretend.
