santa was kind to me this year and i have came across some orks
some of things i got was the ork mega force and 2 ork loota sets
im trying to make an army list ether 1000-2000 so i can play with friends ( i an the only one with orks)
i'd like to catch them off guard with them cause they rarly play this army

i want to play deathskulls that looked like that raped a sm army and loota'd all their gear
i want to do this cause i have sm models and ive never played sm and never will, so i find it to cut them up and get them to use.

i want the base of my army to look

Warboss mega armor, bp, Cybrog combi scorcha

big mek kff , bp

12 lootas

5 mega nobz 2 combi weps

6 warbiker nob, bp, pk

battlewagon deff rolla few big shootas grot riggers

then four boyz squad all in trukks with nobz , pks and bp

would this list work decent?

Sir, you've written a half decent nob biker/kult of speed mix. This aint my exact line of specialty, but the MANZ go in the battle wagon and then yes, it'd work. How the converting goes well.

i did start on my models tho here is my warboss in looted dread armor(using as mega) and my meganob in looted termie armor

That's nice, although I'd take Ghaz instead of that warboss, hate to break it to ya, even if the conversion is nice and orky. I'm not a big fan of mega armor but sure go with it if thats what you want.

i dunno i think ghaz is way to many points
a warboss with mega bp and cybrog is like half the price and with that half proce i could have a boyz squad with nob pk and bp

it says with ard case i get x amount of firing ports how many do i get when its open toped all my boyz can shot out of it?

Infinite. No restrictions essentially.

P70 in the main rulebook, if you want more detail.
Note that you should almost never buy 'ard case, it's a pretty bad upgrade.

Leave the ard case at home.
Your Boyz should be able to charge out of the Trukk or BW.

Deffrolla - Hot Subject, check with your FLGS and your gaming group to see if they allow it to be used on vehicles.

Good list, be sure to stick with your Theme, "SPEED!"

Ghaz is a beast. check his rules out and try him out, I use him in every one of my lists (except smaller ones like 500) and hes a beast with 7 attacks on a charge and the Waaagh! he provides.

Ghaz is quite good, but theres nothing wrong with a normal warboss. I would buy a BW next and put a big squad of 20 in it. After that some nobz and more boyz.

I am personally not a fan of Mega Armor at all. It is all good and well to get Nobz with armor saves, but it is EXPENSIVE! And for the points, you really don't get that much.

I currently run Nobz in a trukk with a PB in my 1000pt list. And they get bikes in my 2000pt list.

The beauty of Orks, in my opinion, is the fact that they are totally expendable. If you try to make them expensive you quickly lose of of the strengths of your army.

You made a preety solid list, I ficed up some stuff here and there like grot riggers on your vehicles, no RPJ and the big shootas on your boyz squads(you won't use them so much really.) . IMO to make it 1500 you should cut a squad of boyz or something not essential for you.

Big shoota's are only ablative to prevent weapon destrpyed from immobilizing you. You don't need 4 per BW. Loota's don't mesh with a speed list, you will be blocking your own lanes of fire and then getting into CC preventing their shots. MANZ are a waste of point. They get a 2+ but no Inv save meaning that plasma etc eats them up. If you are going to use nobz then use regular nobz in a BW. Big mek needs to ride with your forward advancing vehicles to provide obscurred save. Ghazzy is almost a must have. Guaranteed 6" waaagh making orks fearless and giving himself a 2++, 7 atks on the charge, immune to insta death, WS6, 2+/5++ he is just straight BETTER then a regular boss no matter how you gear him.

Agreed, except for the loota part, they're useful in any army, they might be worse in this one but still really DESTROAAI transport and some vehicles. IMO if you get nobs, (not MANZ) put them in a trukk with Ghazzy, and disembark 2nd turn, Waaagh!, and kill everything.

The great thing about those 2 boxes of lootas, If each box comes with enough peices to make 5 lootas or 5 burnas. the bodies will be the same as normal boys so in all actuality you can just use some of the normal boyz from that megaforce box to pull a full 10 lootas AND 10 burnas, on average the lootas and burnas are ahrder to come by then normal boyz. That right there will save ya an easy 50 bucks.

I personally like the mega nobs. Right now i have been tossing 3 of them in with ither a warboss in mega armor or ghazzy. you give one of them a combi skortcha and one a combi rocket so you have a complicated 2 wound unit with 2+ armor saves.

Though if you know you are going up against normal SMs a group of nobs with big choopas is just as devostating. give the unit a waaahg banner so your seeing 5 atks per model on an assalt. With the PKs you will always go last, so if your going with PKs you might as well get the mega nobs and toss em in a truck or BW as the megas will actually cost less then the nobs with PKs.
