I have a camera that produces fuzzy pictures at best as shown in subject A.
The worst so far is subject B.

What type of cameras do you guys use? And im taking about the people with the crystal clear photos. Not fuzzy like mine.

I think it is but anyway. Myself, I don't post pictures but I've look around and I would suggest taking of the lens, using a tri pod and with a camera like yours don't go to close. Find a point where it focuses and zoom in.

I can tell from the angle of your shots that you don't have a Tripod. Before you buy a new camera, buy a Tripod.

Once you have a Tripod, look to see if your camera has a Macro setting. This is used for the close ups.

Use a timer delay on the shot. You want to be able aim it, push the button, and let go of the camera before it clicks. Even with a Tripod the act of pushing the button will cause some blur.

no tripod, i just set the camera on the table mostly, but no macro setting, and i do set the timer on the camera so it sits.

No macro setting is a deal killer for model shots.

You're not going to get good close-ups with it, unless you move the camera way back and then zoom in.

You'll also need a neutral background for the shots (so the camera can tell there is only one subject).

This is weird.
I went to your gallery , and clicked on your camera model link , it links to all the users that used the same camera ,
they seem to have decent pictures.

Try pming some of the same camera owner?

One thing im pretty sure about is , you are taking the pic too close.

According to the Canon site, it does have Macro.

The symbol for it is a little flower. Sometimes, though, in smaller compacts, it is on the same selector dial as the timer, so that you can't use both at the same time.

That said, macro without the ability to combine with a timer is not the end of the world. A stable spot for taking the shot is your best bet in this case.

Besides, it's a digital camera - it's not like you're going to waste film by taking loads of practice pictures. You're just borrowing electrons.

Practice, practice, practice - and practice some more.

Anything with a macro setting or a good auto-focus should work.

To be honest, my camera of choice is my cellphone, but it actually has a fairly good camera (3.2 Mega pixels, I think).

Tripods aren't needed, just place the camera on a steady surface and hold your breath when you take the picture.

In addition, lighting makes a big difference. Make sure you have appropriate lighting, and find ways you can influence that. Also, an all-white background of some sort is ideal. It not only removes all outside colour, it makes it easier for your camera to focus on your miniature.

It really doesn't take high tech to get decent pics. The main problem with your pics is they're out of focus- you're probably trying to focus up too close to the models, so go back until the camera will focus, and zoom as you go to adjust for a fuller frame. Keep trying, a bad workman blames his tools!

Look for a cheap tripod or stand. I've heard a lot of mini photographers also use a remote if their camera has one, so you aren't jostling the camera by pressing the shutter button.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.
Play the games that make you happy.
