Does Dakka Dakka have an IRC channel? If so, what is it? If not, has it considered getting one?
Assuming Dakka Dakka has no IRC nor intentions of getting an IRC, what are some good IRC channels for discussing Wargaming/Warhammer?

There is #40k and one that I occasionally visit (#wau).
There are probably many more. I used to use it a lot back in the late 80s/early 90s (IRC) when I was studying.
Not many people use irc anymore, given the popularity and spread of other chat systems. Although it should be said that it is probably still the one that most students should still have access to at school or uni.

Hmm. I'm having difficulty joining quake.
Uh, yeah. I actually found out about its chat capibilities before filesharing.

Not surprising - since the C in IRC does stand for "chat".
The two I mentioned are through Quakenet also.
