Thow some more info out there. How do you (and you opponent) typically engage? What are your current tactics, how are your units equipped, how do you deploy, etc.?

Yeah, be more specific. For one thing, how are your Nobz grouped and armed? You can't have 11 Nobz in one squad, so you must have at least two.

How are your Boyz grouped? 50 is an odd number for Orks to have. Do you have two squads? Three?

What are your koptas equipped with?

Well i dont really have a specific way of deploying i put my deff koptas at the back with big bomms and rokits all in seperate units i put ghazghkull in a trukk behing cover for the first turn and put my boys in front with 2 squads of 20 and 1 squad of 10 boyz all have bigg shootas and ghazghkull has 6 nobs (sometimes i upgrade em' to mega nobz) and my other warboss has 5 nobz ( somtimes the warboss and nobz are mega nobz depending on how much points were having)

My opponent i dont really know much but here goes...........
he usually keeps half his army in reserve like squads of gaunts ,2 lictors ,genestealers and a broodlord (which come up behind me on his sencond turn he usually puts his hive tyrant behind cover so it can move through cover then he has his god fex close to me but still in cover and i dont know the rest on his turn he unleashes hell on my he blows up all my boy squads with spore mines.

well i dont really have any tactics thats why im asking u.

That should cover about nearly every thing and also what units should i invent in buying, ok thanks

The Problem i see is you havent picked a theme. Thraka & Warboss, 1 Trukk, Nobz at minimal strength. This all adds up to a mess. See my Signiture and pick a theme. Pick 1 or 2 units you like and build from there. Orks are simple minded, they do 1 thing good at a time. they can shoot OR murder in CC OR templates all over OR... just pick ONE and stay there.

I cant give advise till you pick a theme, and build an army for it. Orks mixing themes is almost always a bad idea. :(

If you are looking to specifically beat nids, I would suggest looking into mekanizing your orks.

I tend to use mobility to my advantage in this type of a scenario. Get some PK's attacking where it hurts most, throw some burnaz in a BW and get those templates forcing saves, etc., etc.

I also agree with Kaltak. Decide which type of ork tickles your fancy and hone in on it.

Support bacteria. It's the only culture some people have.

If your looking to beat nids in particular, nobs are great for the job.
A squad of nobs with big choppas will chop down a 'fex on the assault. Tossing them in truuks/BW should guarantee you the assault. They will destroy gaunts as well. Nobs can be weak to 'stealer assaults, as the stealers assault on I6, denying your nobs any attacks.

A BW of shootas/lootas would take care of the stealer problem. Even if the stealers are getting cover, you should be able to bring enough firepower to bear to do enough damage on them to make them less of a threat.

My answer to everything tyranid is burna boys. Just....burna boys. Then again, I run a mechanized list and I can get them around the battlefield in style.

If you're running THAT army list...make all those boys shoota boys, give your deff-koptas twin-linked rokkits and a couple of them big bombs, run them in three units of two each, and you've got your answer.
