I am a 40k player to start off with, but I have had some time in whfb. I started to collect a Bret army years ago, back when they came out with their army book. I've had about 3 armies. Empire, lizardmen and the brets. But for some reason the VC have been calling my name, something about hordes of undead and vampires. Anyways what would you say about converting knights of the relm and their basic men at arms into a starting point of a VC army? Knights as undead cav or even blood knights? Or stck with the mass cav of the Bret army? Tell me what you think!

Make Brets turning into VC

I've got a fairly large force of Brets, and I've toyed with picking up the VC codex and seeing what kind of army I could field using those mins. Say, Men at Arms as skellies, KoTR as Blood Knights, maybe get a unit of foot knigts to use as Grave Guard, that sort of thing.

They need to be converted though so unless your wanting to tear your prized Bretonnians apart id buy a Vampire Counts and Bretonnians batallion then go at it from there.

Tomb Kings (As a proxy list)would be a better option as you can then field archers and wouldnt be wasting anything from the boxes

Who said anything about converting? This would be a 'counts as' VC army just for fun, at least in my case.

Sounds great. You could even make them into an army based on the Blood knights:
