Hi folks, For those that dont know I have been commissioned to do some concepts and sculpts in order to be casted and sold to everyone... since I have finished some new stuff and I will do plenty more colaborations in the near future I opted to open this thread to resume everything here.
What differs this from other projects threads I have, is that these sculpts will be available to all since they will be casted and sold.
Here I hope to get feedback and sugestions since these are sculpted for you. Without further delays here you go:

People liked it but sugested me to loose the lateral protuberances on head and so I did:

So its the final thing.

People also sugested more variants so I did a "closed" pincer head and a "opened" pincer head

but kind of brainstormed with client and I'm sculpting this one:

Absolutely amazing heads. From what we've heard about the Elite genestealers, those should be perfect! Have been a big fan of your Tyranid work for a long time.

The xenomorph heads are well-received, of course
Suggestion - the lower lip, while hero-scale, is a little bulky IMO. Also, I suggest toning down the smooth tubing on the back of the head. Maybe just one medium-width one with two very thin ones intertwining with it?

Pod concept drawings look great. You have plans to build and do your own castings? What do you think about representing the rumored weapons on them? What about having some 'open' and 'closed' ones?

These were already shipped to client, who will cast and sell them ( chapterhouse studios outstanding folks).
Rest assured there will be 2 more bits on the pod so you can make a total of 3diferent pods.

I love it. Very vaginal, which a must for scary alien mouths.

Still brainstorming so all sugestions welcome.

Number 1 looks too much like duckfoot webbing. The way the blade is scalloped without supporting structure makes it look like the blade would shatter on impact. Number 2, though, looks absolutely wicked. I'm all for that one.

I second that, the second one is the best. Now for some tentacle arms and some wings for certain warrior models and my wishlist is complete.

Those Xenomorph heads are awesome might have to wip a few up. Are we just talking bugs because a few predator heads for kroot would be nice

I'm thinking some Wings would be a good thing too.

Tyranid Warrior sized, and maybe Hive Tyrant sized later on down the road?

Hellz yeah! Those heads are super awesome.

I love the feeders/tentacles.

Although on a more sad note I was in my local GW the other day talking about chapterhouse studios because I love how handy the shoulder pads are from there and the stor manager said that GW was in the process of suing you is this so?

Nice job on the sculpt, i like the Kthulu esque heads.

And about the blades, i like the width of the blade part on A. but the meat parts of B. are better.

I vote for bioblade 2. Suggestion would be to extend the blade down farther -- past the eye so that it is part of the elbo spike. Something to consider anyways, maybe as a variant.

1. is ok, just the blade is off. Perhaps a more thin, katana like blade.

Is the xenomorph head large enough for warriors?

I prefer the first blade design when compared to the second as the edges make it look for shell fish like.

Wouldnt a nid bio-blade be similar to a khorne daemon wep in that it needs to feed off the blood of its victims?
In which case it would need some kind of feeding runnels down near the hilt...

The sketches you have for the pods are simply fantastic. I would love to see these sculpted, and approximate pricing for them.

After a long weekend sculpting and 2.5 big tubes of Greenstuff...
Here is the cratter for the biopod... as you can notice is quite big.







At the begining I considered having details like some small skull or bugs but If you are going to get multiple pods you would end up with a very boring and reconizable features so I tried to make a generic cratter that can go in any terrain and get away with multiples... also the 5inches of interior can give interesting terrain and game options also.
Pod wise the cratter will be mostly covered by pod but I think the extra detailing inside cratter can give you more modelling options.

As for the Xenomorph heads, they are quite forgiving You can get away with small bugs as well as median sized ones.

Awesome stuff. Can't wait to see them produced.

Don't know if I like either arm concept. Do you have any thoughts on a completely different direction? Maybe even a kind of sword that is not actually attached to them (or just slightly attached at the hand)?

Like the others, I prefer blade #2. Honestly, though, I prefer everything else about #1.

Could you mix ARM #1 with BLADE #2?
