I was thinking of converting the new plastic Stormvermin and the DE's plastic Black Ark Corsairs - to create a special Stormvermin unit to Headtaker (do to his special rule, thats give then an extra I & A).

Do anyone one of you know, if they are similar in sizes???

Cheers and thanks for your help

It appears to me that Stormvermin are not as hunched over as Clanrats it may work I would need to see a test model to make any judgement.

They dont call me Garybrandy for nothing!

how is it off topic? we hardly know what the topic even is!

Having the corsairs but not the new stormvermin, I rather strongly suspect the corsairs are significantly taller. But I doubt it is anything a little trimming on the hem of the cloaks can't fix.

I've used the corsair cloaks for a few 40k conversion and they're very easy to fit to any height. All you have to do is saw/file/whatever the back "torso" bit attached to the inside of the cloak so that they fit flush with whatever model you're attaching them do and clip enough off of the top to fit your model's height.

Just be careful that what you're putting them on isn't too broad on the shoulders, or else it'll just wind up looking goofy.

Sounds great, thanks - now it seems a little bit easier to go on and start working on my project here from the beginning of Feb

Grankobot < Do you have some, picture of a mini you have made with thouse cloaks - if so, would you kindly post them here - or reff me to a place where I can see them.

Because, it sounds very cool - I never thought of using them on 40k minis.

Cheers all, and thanks again for the help
