You're right. God's team would have to be either the Saints or the Cardinals.

Cowboys will choke. Romo will see the front 4 of the Vikes and crap himself knowing Jared Allen has his number.
First time for everything but Vikings are undefeated at home this season.
Although I take comfort in knowing that if the Vikes lose it's to my #2 team so at least ONE of the teams I'm a fan of will go to the division and possible superbowl.

Saints, Ravens, Vikings & Chargers
Saints: I think they end up winning a shoot-out against Arizona. Brees has a much better line in front of him than Rodgers did, so this one won't end in a strip fumble TD sequence
Ravens: Partly for the delicious Baltimore irony, and partly because the Colts always seem sluggish in the play-offs after they rest their starters.
Vikings: I'm a HUUUGE Redskins fan, so there's no way in hell I'm picking in favour of the Arlington Cryboys
Chargers: I think the Jets are spent after dominating the Bengals

Actually, only NON-Vikings fans think Favre IS the Vikings.
Vikings fans know if it wasn't for the rest of the team we wouldn't have gotten this far. We have a rookie of the year, we have arguably the best RB in football right now; our front 4 could stop a freight train.
Having the 2nd ranked run defense and #1 in fewest ppg allowed says that it's more than just Favre. The Vikings as a whole, excluding Favre, are playing the best football they have in about a decade.
I'm sure they are Favre groupies out there who will say it was all Favre but any fan of the Vikes as a team will say otherwise.
I like Dallas but I give this one to the Vikings.
See you at the Superbowl.

Of course, if the Pack was God's team, you'd think they would have won more than one Bowl since the 1960s. Just sayin'.
Saints-Vikes oughta be interesting. Line play is going to be huge in that one.
Colts-Jets is interesting too. The Jets can't win in anything other than a grinding affair, but the Colts don't really blow anyone out. I don't think the Jets are very good, but the Colts are ripe for the picking. Needless to say, I think the NFC's gonna take it this year.
By the way, told ya regarding the Chargers and Rivers. Yes, the kicker missed three FGs...but that's how many TD opportunities that Rivers didn't deliver on. That team just can't get it done when it needs to.

i really want to root for the Saints in this one, I think it would be cool if they went, however.... if Favre goes and wins a superbowl... then maybe (maybe... maybe...) he will retire.... FINALLY.
I really think the Cowboys could have had that one, the freaking field goal kicker choked big time, it could have been a 9-14 game, and that could have sparked something...... anyways.. moving on to the future.
I think the Jets can take the Colts. I have to go with the Jets on this one.
So either way.... Jets and someone in the big game.

Naw, even making the FG's Romo was in trouble all game.
We ran circles around the outside all day forcing Romo to step back away from the inside making him susceptible to sacks from our outside pincer move. Stepping up would have meant being in bear-hug range of the Williams Wall.
That and our safeties were all over the receivers like flies all over gak and with Romo having no time to throw the safeties had the easiest jobs in the world.
