When you use the terminators are you worried that the more recent plastics are on bigger bases? I have some of these models and they are quite a bit smaller, plus base size matters in CC.

Hi, General - Not really as the rulebook just says to use the bases the models were supplied with, which in this case were the smaller 25mm bases.
These models would look a bit silly on the bigger bases, I think, as they aren't doing the (slightly stupid looking) wide-legged pose that the more recent models are, mostly it seems to filll the bigger base

I decided to mount my old termies on 40mm bases in massively elevated poses to make them more popular at my gaming club. But I love those old-style Rhino bodies. Amazing.

I agree about the look, just wondered how you felt about any gaming advantages or disadvantages.

Not sure, really.
I guess there's a disadvantage in that more can be caught by blast weapons.
Maybe a slight advantage in CC, but now you just need to be within 2" of a model in BtB contact to attack, I don't think it would have very much effect...

Hey!
Cool stuff. Love blood angels!
My friend dug out his old Spacewolf stuff that he had from years ago, and some of the terminator models he had were just hilarious looking! lol
I actually just love the new stuff, not that I'm a nube or anything, its just way better IMO. Also most things are plastic now and I hate metal stuff, (even tho Ive got a huge Dark Eldar army!)
Thanks for giving us a snoop at your stuff tho, nice!
