Well, I got to do a NMM Dante a little while ago. I guess that's all the introduction the chapter master needs these days:

Commentary is always welcome.

Very nice - very nice indeed!

I love that effect, sadly would never be able to recreate it... If I ever add Dante to my force, he'll be wearing metallic paint

My Dante is a converted Corbulo but I took down the picture. Not my intention to "jack" anyones thread.

Did you really have to jack someone else's modeling thread?

Great stuff, love how you've captured the sheen of it. Two things from a painter a lot less accomplished than yourself: Maybe you should blend the axe a bit more, since I can still pick out the strokes. Secondly, I personally would like more shading on the white feather areas, since now they look too white.

Otherwise, job's a good'un!

Very hot, sure as sure! Only thing you maybe could improve is the emblem wings, maybe a ink and some highlights? Also you could make the little blood drops a very DEEP blood red.

Should have put it in a DakkaDakka Gallery! I would have voted. It looks really nice though.. I have always loved that mini.

You know, I probably should use the Dakka gallery more often.

I'll get on that.

I am very envious of your talents. Now i'd love to see a retinue with him

The difference between commitment and involvement is like eggs and ham; the ckicken was "involved", the pig was "comitted".

Well, I think that's going to depend. This was painted for a commission, so I'm not planning on doing a lot of Blood Angels to match him.

On the other hand, I'll probably be getting some more Blood Angels commissions soon, and I'll definitely be posting those up.

Very nice job. Only criticism I have is that you should have spent a little more time on blending various parts of the metal. Such as his thigh above the knee cap on the right leg. Also the highlights on his abs looks off to me. Like they aren't reflecting the light properly like the rest of the armor is.

Never say die! Never surrender!

Dude that is some awesome nmm!

If you want some constructive criticism, I'd say the drop on the chest blends in a little too much, maybe highlight it more or outline it or tint it or something.

Again Awesome Job, good to see the CM getting such special treatment.
