If there was a huge "battle royal" or a round robin tournament with every army involved, but only the use of their battalion box set and no magic items, who do you think would win?

My money is with Lizardmen, with Warriors of Chaos a close second and perhaps Dark Elves scraping in for a podium finish.

Hmm... I'd fancy my chances with the High Elves Battalion. ASF goes a long way and the box includes a RBT too.

Going to show my inexperience here, but for the battle royal I am leaning towards the top three in no particular order dwarfs, lizardmen, and HE. My reasoning is the lasting power of dwarfs with their AS, toughness, and 9 LD; the lizardmen on the same premises with cold-blooded, and the high elves because, like flashman says, ASF will go a long way.
The round robin tournament I would have to go with HE again, followed by warriors of chaos, and maybe TK (3 chariots are going to do a lot of damage IMO)

Dark Elves - have a ton of repeater crossbows, with sheer weight of fire alone id say they would be a good chance to wipe 1/2 of most other armies before they would get in combat. Then the corsairs and spearmen would lay down plenty of attacks and the Cold One Knights would be very hard to kill off.
Warriors of Chaos - great armour saves and two blocks of elite troops in the form of Warriors and Knights.
Lizardmen - 8 Cold One riders will be a real pain, on top of a good size regiment of Suarus and some handy Temple Guard. Also got plenty of Skinks running round harassing/flank charging.
Tomb Kings - agreed, the chariots would perhaps cause some trouble, but cant see the skeletons causing much damage without a Liche Priest to re-summon them.
Dwarves - didn't really give them much thought, although now you mention it they would take a fair bit of killing!

That was my second thought about dwarfs. Some people would forget about them or figure they could deal with them later. Its not like they're going any where.
I think some people would just stay far enough away from the repeater crossbows. They would most likely be looking at a -1 for multiple shots and a -1 for long range, and if they moved or the enemy is in cover. Well then at least they have a crap load of shots.
I have to agree with chaos warriors too. I was thinking while most would ignore the dwarfs the opposite would be happening against chaos. I know I would shoot at them before they could get stuck in with me.
Oh well. It is fun daydreaming about this stuff for me.
