Hey, I'm looking for a 'robot spider' or 'spider walker vehicle' kit for a conversion. Anyone know of any toy manufacturers that make such things?

Depending on the size you want, the Robogear Spider model kit is very detailed, though like many "robot spider" toys it actually only has six legs.
I expect you might want a little larger, though. Like, more Defiler-sized, or what?

I would said if you can Find the Wild west movie spider model( the new one with Will Smith in it)...
Ive seen the model, I think Revel, or Some Italian company makes it in a 1/72 scale ( its still pretty big)

Thanks.
I'm looking for not-quite-defiler sized - the defiler is a pretty big footprint. I'm looking for something that could be the bottom end of a monstrous creature, so I guess only slightly bigger than a 60mm base...

In that case, the Robogear thing I mentioned should work fine. They're dirt cheap, too, as far as poseable sci-fi models go.
