What do you guys use? Gargoyle wings seem too small. Anything else that fits right?

Ya I saw that, I dont really have the money and I dont want to wait for a FW order hehe

I saw the Pegasus wings on the GW site. The one for the Dark Elves. Anyone know how big those are or if they are appropriate for the size of Warriors?

I really dont want to mold a whole wing. My gs skills are in the toilet. I usually just stick to gap filling. Anyone know how big those pegasus wings are? I only need it for my Parasite model so I dont mind paying for one pair of wings.

Yeah, that's what I always said too, but now people tell me I'm rather good at it. You won't get better if you don't challenge yourself, and really, wings are a good place to start as they're large flat surfaces, not a lot of fine detail sculpting. Use a pair of Scytal arms, as those have "hands" on them, cut off the blade, put in some plastic or metal rods to be the supporting "fingers", and go to town on it and see what happens.

Ummmm... I know its just a game, but the scale is just off, tyranid warriors would have to have huge wings.

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I Die, You are forgiven. If I Live, I will kill you." Such is the Rule of Honor.

Are those a good size for a Nurgle Daemon Prince, by any chance?

The winged nightmare wings would be perfect for warriors, but possibly small for a D/Prince. Have a look at zombie dragon wings, or bloodthirster ones. The last link is for the nighmare wings for comparison.

I used the metal gargoyle wings on mine, and I think it worked out well. I'll try to get some pics later tonight to show how I did it.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Here are some of my warriors done with gargoyle wings. It took a lot clipping to get rid of the ends of the wings; the part that forms the flying base slot on the metal gargoyles. But eventually I could just glue it in the top arm socket. The wings have a little claw on the side; I cut just the claw and left the membrane, and then cut a hormagaunt claw to fit the spot left there, no green stuff required, and I haven't had one break yet. The rending claws are from the genestealer set.

Sadly they are now illegal in the codex, and I'm not sure if I want to go cutting off the genestealer arms.
