I am a Noob to 40k Scratch builds. I have seen some awesome stuff on here and I would like to scratch buld killa kans (because of cost reasons). Looking for ideas, Tips, helpful hints, adivce working with plasticard or anything else that would help me in this process it would be greatly appreciated.

Try using GW paint pots & spare weapons and accesories from boyz or trukk. I plan to convert a GW wash pot into a kan myself.

Or just wait for the rumored plastic killa kan squadrons, should be a bit cheaper

Also look for Stumps blog in this section as he made killer killa kans maybe it will serve as some good inspiration.

I've seen Wall-e's used to good effect as 'kans, should be quite easy to get hold of and kit bash.

I just made some from scratch and wasnt too hard.

I used a wooden dowel and wraped it with thin plasticard on a couple of them and I had a clear tub that my wife bought some beads in that I used for a couple of others.

I am planning to make some from terrain barrels but I have heard pvc pipe may work as well.

The Wall-E is a good suggestion... I have a larger one that I'm turning into a Stompa when I get the time... never even occurred to me to grab some of the little ones to use as Kans...
