id say neither even though the dark angels cover them selves up and keep secrets, they actively seek to restore there honor ive never heard of a emo do anything other than take up space

Neither.

Not in a "the whole world hates me and nobody understands me" kind of way. It is not like either chapters sits in their basement listening to music and feels misunderstood.

They are both out there kicking ass for the Emperor.

Having a shameful past does not make you emo. Going out and torturing people about your shameful past is a very long way from being evil. And one can have a self-flagellant attitude without being emo, emo is less purifying yourself through pain and more 'oh look at me I hurt myself'.

Having a nasty habit of going into uncontrolable rage does not make you emo. Being the most artistic chapter does not make you emo when you are actually very good at it, it is painting, and it doesn't have any black and white styles with grainy filters on it.

I didn't know the real definition of 'Emo'. I thought it was just being excessively gloomy, cynical, pessimistic, and narcissistic to socio-pathic extremes. If that is the case I vote Dark Angels. They are still hunting living reminders of their treachery, in an Imperium where even a shred of heresy leads to exterminatus. They are ashamed, and depressing.

Whereas, the Blood Angels seem to be embracing their vampirism. Even that cool picture of the Blood Angel character with that big golden communion cup... you know what he's drinking, and he's too drunk on it to care if the whole Imperium knows, ha ha!

Blood Angels aren't Emo. They're pretty-boys obsessed with their looks. They're like the polar opposite of Emo.

Dark Angels though... that's a different story.

Keeping secrets and hating everyone isn't really an emo thing.... that just seems like a normal day for me! You'll be hard to find an emo doing anything like getting off their asses and accomplishing something more than whining about themselves. Dark Angles bust out and kick ass and take names! Or rather, check names as they look for those jerk brothers of their's!
