Well, in addition to the meltagun he does have 2 battlecannons, 2 missile launchers and a lascannon, which together should be able to deal with something AV14 each turn. They will be in different positions, as well, so the chances of a flank shot at range are good. How much AV14 does he have to worry about at 1000?

I would be tempted to switch the weapons around a bit. Why not have the plasma/lascan with the CCS, as they are the best shooters? Give them the chimera to help protect the squad. Then blobbing the first two infantry squads would be an option as well, and you'd have two AC's in it. Put the sniper rifle in the PCS, then you'd have 2xAC/2xGL in one blob, 2xML/2xGL in the other. Two 20 man blobs would work good for orders. The mortar/sniper rifle combo is cheap with good range, and you concentrate your pinning capability into one squad. That's all a little confused, maybe; I'm saying CCS with PG/LC and chim, PCS with SR/Mort, and 2xIS with AC/GL.

I would drop the voxes from the PCS and the vets to upgrade the vets to three meltas. That way they are more solid in their role, and Tokugawa will feel better about your anti-AV14 capabilities. You can't give orders to a squad in chimera, and the vets not be near the officers anyways. With the PCS having a mortar, orders for them will be minimal.

Swapping those guns would be good. Let the vets take 3 meltaguns and dont take those lemans squadroned. You really need more antitank... really really. I know that its hard to get lots of plastic meltaguns but... its worth it. I would take a lascannon HWS... four lascannons, two battlecannons, 3 meltaguns and 2 missile launchers should be enough antitank at 1000 pts.

What murdog says, is a good tip! Hq in a Chimera, Putting inf. Squad in a chimera is a waste on my part.
