Hi all.

After pawning my executioner and punisher cannons for a painted forgeworld tank commander from a very experienced friend, i decieded that i would scratch build another. However, i only got round to it recently, and have no idea how to go about it. any suggestions anybody?

ps, i might get round to the executioner. Maybe. Or ill forgeworld it.

Before the GW Punisher came out, I was going to make one using plastic lolly sticks and a bit of plasticard.

I made my own.

I also scratch-built the turret to match it (but then, I'm using a Pig Iron Ironshield for my tank hulls, so that was necessary anyway).

7 lengths of 3mm Overall Diameter (O/D) tubing, a couple of pieces of 11mm O/D tubing (9mm internal diameter).

Glue two lengths of the 3mm either side of a third length.
Glue two lengths on top of these so that they nestle in the 'valleys', and two underneath the same way.

Slide (or push, it's a tight fit) a short length of the 11mm over the butt end (this will be mounted at the turret mantlet) and a small ring of the same size around the 'business' end.

Et voila, one big-a%% rotary cannon. Not really any larger overall than the normal LR main gun, and with some fiddling CAN fit into the normal turret arrangement.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
