Ok, this book has altered my army in ways that I find make the army, as a whole, uncertain now. I will post the overall army list and appreciate any comments. To make things clear: I do not plan to alter models, nor purchase anything new (counts as is tolerable to a certain extent, which will be explained). I just need to find some new cohesion.
-Thank you

Hivefleet Blitzkrieg

HQ
+Krieg Tyrant: 2 Scything Talons, Leech Essence, Paroxysm.
(I'd like to keep it as nasty in melee as it was in 4th, but the points cost is too high now.)

+Blitz Tyrant: Twin Linked Devourers w/Brainleech Worms, Heavy Venom Cannon, Leech Essence, Paroxysm. (Shooty Tyrant, although I find the new Shooting only powers to be useless for the most part on this creature.)

+2 regular Tyrant Guard
(Stick 1 with each Tyrant or double up on one?)

Elite
+2x Lictors
(Alternative: counts as Tyrant Guard? Brood of 2 or split them?)

Troops
+4 Krieg Warriors: 2 Scything Talons
+5 Blitz Warriors: 4 w/Scything Talons + Deathspitter, 1 w/Scything Talons + Venom Cannon
+28 Blitz Gants: Spinefists
+28 Krieg Gaunts: Scything Talons +Toxin Sacs (Keep Toxin?)
+17 Regular Genestealers (Split into 2 Broods?)

Fast Attack
+6 Spore Mine Clusters
+6 Spore Mine Clusters
+6 Spore Mine Clusters
(I have tons of Spore Mines, so I'd like to use them as much as possible.)

Heavy Support
+3 Biovores (Used to have Bio Acid for my Anti Vehicular, that is gone.)
+2 Carnifex: Scything Talons + Heavy Venom Cannon
(My new Anti Vehicular.Keep 2 in one Brood or split? Use them for Counts As Tyrannofex?)

Total: 2250

As you see, I am light in AV, but anti personnel is quite high. I'd like to keep the swarm together as much as possible, giving my opponent too many deadly targets to choose from. I had to strip my army down to bare bones in this new book, and I still gained at least 100 extra points. Just trying to find a way to include as much as possible again while still being a nice all comers/balanced list.

Thank you for your time.

Biovores count as hive guards.

HVC fex is good, and T-fex could replace S9 guns with S10. Since you have no zoans, place them as T-fex is also a good idea.

So many gants...maybe count a tyrant as tervigon would be good support to gants.

I would trade the second set of talons on the "+4 Kreig Warriors" to rending claws. I'm pretty sure it's a free swap and with Weapon Skill 5 now, they're hitting just about everyone on a 3 anyway so I've found just one set of talons to be sufficient.

Also, buy the Hive Commander Upgrade on one of your Tyrants so you can give a unit of Troops (probably the 4 warriors I was just talking about) Outflank and a +1 to reserve roll.

Yeah it is a free swap to Rending Claws. I'd just counts as the 2 I have with 2 scything talons, pretty easy.

Was thinking of having the Lictors counts as 2 more Tyrant Guard. Thoughts on this? Also please comment on the suggestions in parenthesis.

Will look into Hive Commander, but having just 4 Warriors outflank does not seem worthwhile. I'd like to keep the swarm packed like one gigantic entity, know what I mean?

Please keep the comments coming.

The tyrant is geared up for close combat as can re-roll to hit, but cannot make combat swiftly. I would add wings at least. Also have you thought of old adversary?

Second tyrant is ok.

Lictors are a bit meh. You deep strike onto the table and cannot use their phermone trail the same turn, nor the reserve roll.

The warriors with 2 pairs of scything talons would be better with rending claws and toxin sacs - reroll to wound is nice, or anything over T5 hits on a 4+ still

Spinegaunts are really expensive. I would proxy these for termagaunts, really.

I would split the genestealers drop the hormagaunts and get another termagant unit. You now have two nasty c.c unit threats and ranged shooting units too.

With those two units of warriors have you thought of taking tyranid primes, btw?

Spore mines are ok against infantry lists. Mech armies do not fear them. Makes me laugh when they detonate against my side armour 13 on my leman russes.

Split the 'fex's gives you two units for dual threat then. Throw in frag mines and bio plasma if you can, you now can assault into cover and bio plasma is another weapon, but 20 points is expensive.

On the wings: no wings man. Not wanting to do anymore conversions.
Old Adversary is the Preferred Enemy power to certain units?
On the Lictors: so counts as Tyrant Guard then?
Ok so 4 Warriors, Talons, Claws and Toxin?
Counts as the 28 Spinegants for the ones with FleshBorers?
Cannot drop the Hormagaunts. I'd like to use all the models I currently have w/o purchasing anything new.

Just wanting a "ok so this new book came out, what can I do with what I have?" kind of thing.

Appreciate the suggestions. In time I am sure it will all come together

I would say you could get away with counting the Lictors as Tyrant Guard.
The Spinegaunts --> termagaunts would be easy too.

The new book really did change a lot... but I think you could probably just count as if you can easily remember what they are, which shouldn't be hard.

I actually have a full body tattoo, but it's of an invisibility cloak, so you can't see it.

Then the tyrant with the talons isn't going to make combat quickly enough and will be gunned down. Why not proxy? After all wings are not targetted for LOS.

Yes, preferred enemy affects units within 6" of the tyrant and the tyrant itself. So you can buff x amount of units.

I would go count as tyrant guard seems you really want to keep that tyrant without wings. Though if your having a foot tyrant ranged fire power is better.

talons, rending claws and toxin sacs are deadly. You get to re-roll to wound against T4 units or below which could mean more rending hits. Also monstrous creatures still get hit on a 4+. These guys are annoying, I've fought against them.

I would do counts as for the spinegaunts. Spinefists are a bit naff. I'm sure saying to your opponent oh these are fleshborers wouldn't be a problem, I wouldn't tbh.

I would get two units of hormagaunts then, for dual threat, maybe.

No worries . Be sure to check out my blog in my signature, getting some tyranid tactica up and more will be coming.

I could say the melee Tyrant has powerful hind legs and is able to pounce on it's victims from far away and counts as wings. Thoughts?
If I do that, what becomes of the 2 Lictors counting as Tyrant Guard?

So beef up the Warriors to have Talons/Claws and Toxin?

I can split the 28 Hormas into 2 broods of 14 no problem.

So Troops would be:
Melee Warriors
Shooty Warriors
Horma x14
Horma x14
28 Fleshborer Termas
17 Stealers

Will look into the changes to the Fexes as well.

Aye, would be fine. Just make sure you explain to your opponent that the beast has got wings . Until I get wings for mine thats what I'll be doing anyway...

Yup. Warriors with toxin sacs get to re-roll against T4, that means more rending

IMO units should always been taken in twos because of unit redundancy and dual threat. I only take weak units in singles. So I would double up on the genestealers and drop hormagaunts, though tbh you don't need 17 genestealers in a unit if you use them well. 10 should be enough, but make sure to give them toxin sacs for the same reason as the warriors.

Ok, I had some time to really go over all the suggestions and this list is pleasing me currently. It has the swarm feel and the scaryness of both shooting and melee that I had before.

Hivefleet Blitzkrieg

HQ
+Skull F***er aka Swarm Lord

+Blitz Tyrant: Twin Linked Devourers w/Brainleech Worms, Heavy Venom Cannon, Leech Essence, Paroxysm.
(HVC or Stranglethorn?)

+4 regular Tyrant Guard (2 Lictors counts as for SwarmLord)

Elite
+3x Hive Guard (3 Biovores counts as)

Troops
+4 Krieg Warriors: Talons, Claws, Toxin.
+5 Blitz Warriors: 4 w/Scything Talons + Devourers, 1 w/Scything Talons + Barbed Strangler
+28 Blitz Gants: Fleshborers
+14 Krieg Gaunts: Scything Talons, Toxin
+14 Krieg Gaunts: Scything Talons, Toxin
+17 Regular Genestealers (Swarm Lord will use his ability to have them Outflank and arrive faster. I kept it at 17 because it will be large enough to charge multiple enemy units and keep them busy till the swarm hits them.)

Fast Attack
+6 Spore Mine Clusters
+6 Spore Mine Clusters
+6 Spore Mine Clusters

Heavy Support
+1 Carnifex: Scything Talons, Heavy Venom Cannon , Bio Plasma, Frag Spines, Adrenal Glands.

+1 Carnifex: Scything Talons, Heavy Venom Cannon , Bio Plasma, Frag Spines, Adrenal Glands.
(I have a nice balance of shooting and melee with this setup. )

Total: 2402

As you see the points went up, but I almost have half an army that shoots and half an army that is melee. Exactly what I had before and this makes me happy. I know it was mentioned the Stealers should have Toxin, if that is done, what needs to go?It costs 51 points for it.(Upgrade wise, not model wise) I'd like to keep this close to 2400 overall.

Again comments and critique are appreciated, just please keep in mind I am not doing anymore conversions, nor buying anymore models. (I have 12 armies as it is ).
Thank you

Woah, what you doing putting devourers with venom cannon on the tyrant? Devourers are s6 anti infantry, can do over light armour. Venom cannon is S9 and can do over armour providing it doesn't glance. VC is no good for infantry, really and the devourers are not brilliant for armour. If you want anti infantry either double devourers or stranglethorn & devourers.

I still think those stealers would be better halfed. That way you've got dual threat and all will make combat. You might not get all 17 into combat.
