Hello guys,

One of the things I promised everyone when I started Battle Foam was that I would never charge more for our products then we needed to. I also promised everyone that if we found a way to cut costs in our production we would pass that savings on to everyone of our customers.

Well, guess what! As some of you may have heard we have expanded our warehouse and production force to over 10,000 SF. This allowed for more equipment, more storage, and more man power. All of this created a savings in our operational costs.

The bottom line is we saved money, so you guys save money.

As of February 1st all of the 432 bags have been reduced. These bags are our biggest sellers and we move hundreds of units each month. For that reason we feel that even more people should benefit from a great bag at a lesser price.

So effective now the price for the 3 versions of the bags are as follows.

Protecting Your Army

Got one during the Black Friday Sale last year, it's a great compromise between storage space and portability.

Cool the 432, C4 and 216 are my favorite bags, a question for you Romeo... If I want Custom Load Out option I cant get it on waylands right? I need to get directly from you guys in the US?

Romeo lets say I wanted to put this in a bag what would I need?
a hive tyrant with 4 bone sabers <you can guess what this is
180 termigants
2 tervigons
2 trygons
and 3 plasma hatcher spores
How would I go about that?>

Hmm. So would I have to purchase the bag first in order to find out if my full 2000 point Tau army would fit with a custom load out?

You can see how many models fit in a tray on their site, then just check how many trays you would need for your army, and finally check which bag fits all the trays you need based on the height on the trays?

Pfft, what, you mean do all that work?

I'm a pretty bad judge at this kind of thing, it's why I need two bags to transport my army in the first place (well, and because pluck foam sucks).

It looks like I'd have to go for a 1520 anyway.

I wonder what this means for the soon to be released 720?

I'm REALLY looking forward to that one, especially if the Price Is Right!

Romeo, is that retroactive on open orders? I have a friend with a few bags ordered, I think including a 432.

We are not crediting anyone for already placed orders because that would open a huge can of worms. What we are doing is for anyone that is in production right now with us we are adding a free standard troop tray to the order at no cost. This is something we are doing to even out the price adjustment.

Heh my friend saw my 1520 and did some thinking. As he puts it "that is the best bag i have seen to put my tattoo equipment in". So the bag is not limited to miniatures.

I bought your bags while deployed in Iraq, maybe you remember me. I will tell you they are awesome!! I bought the 1520 and the 216. I have put both my GW mega paint set and GW Tool set in the 216 and has room for more paint. Having all of my modeling’s supplies in one bag is great and saves tons of space. I don’t think many people know how great your modeling bags are for condensing all of the GW clunky case into a single smaller case.

My only question, which I even asked you awhile back, is when are you going to make a bigger bag like the P.A.C.K 2000? Mech IG takes up so much space its insane and I have literally ran out of room in my 1520. Maybe putting wheels and a handle on this would be nice also. Also some large pockets with zippers on the sides and the front to store lots of little things like dice, codex’s, rule books, smoke screens, objectives, etc.
Another thing that you could simply do is make it so that the top portion of your 1520 loads from the front instead of the top, similar to the bottom portion. You could then put a zipper on the top portion, which would allow you to zip on other Pack Bags like the 216 that could be used to store more troops.

People could make towers of cases if they wanted, especially if you sold the top portion and/or bottom portions separately and made the backpack portion removable. Then individuals could combine them, as they required. I could only imagine both bottom portions of the 1520 stacked on each other that would be a dream come true.

Great quality bags though and worth the money if you are serious about protecting the models you put so much time and money into.

I can't give you much details but to tell you that after April 15th all of the items on your dream sheet will be available.

That's all I can say for now but look for a huge release that will solve every problem you mentioned.

Awesome stuff. Just make sure not to send out any C&D letters when you become the undisputed champion of your niche market and you should do fine.

I have 4 trays for my eldar but they stack up to be ~11" of foam. I really wish there was a middle ground bag between the 7.5" and 22".

Anyone have any recommendations on bags I could substitute?

I placed an order with you guys on black friday, and received the bag a few days before christmas.

Considering I ordered a 1520 and had to revise the exact layout of the trays several times ( wow that thing holds a TON of minis!! my whole army and then some), the turn around time was lightspeed.

The only thing more impressive than the quality of your products is the quality of your customer service, keep it up!!!

That's great news, I may just have to pick up another bag before leaving the island. (My IG is more Mech now than Vet, if you get my drift.) The 1520 has served me very well so far- everything in it survived a trip through the post and military mail system.

Even though there is no price break on the custom foam load out, I think the value of your custom foam designs are so great it is still a great value.

I plan on getting a second 1520 PACk soon so this is good to hear!

April 15th?!? What will we do till then? How 'bout some sneak peaks/previews so that I (we all) can know what we're saving our tax return $ for and maybe some ballpark prices so we can know how much we need. Somehow I have ended up with more (Battle) Foam than there is room for in my 1520, and an extra 432 just isn't going to cut it. Unlike the Dark Eldar or Necron Codex, I might see a new Battlefoam case in my lifetime. Give us some hope to hold on to while we wait! (Please)

I'm dying for details on the upcoming 720 - which will probably be my next purchase from them, provided, of course, (cue game show music), the price is right!

The 720 was supposed to be released on February 15th, so far it hasn't been released, or even shown to the general public. Romeo, is there a delay in the 720 release or what? The P.A.C.K. Mini hasn't been showcased or released yet, and it was due January 15th.

The 720 is being released at Adepticon. Can't speak for the mini, but the Adepticon release was confirmed on 40k Radio not long ago.

If I had just waited a month. Oh well.

What was the price before? I have a 432 and LOVE it, but I don't recall what I had paid.
