They really fit in well with your army. The stenciling adds a little something to the overall effect too. Minor issue would be the armaments.

As to the armaments, given that there isn't a model for these who knows what they should even look like? Is it a gun? are they psychic tendrils? could they burrow through the ground under the pod? Could it be tendrils of radiation? or toxic splats sneezes? Or Caustic gas? or....

I see the 4 splats up the pod as the tendrils, I envision them detaching from the sides and snaring people. But who knows.

I can't believe they didn't make a model for this, just apauling.

I like the shape of the pods a lot. I can't say I'm in love with the beehive pattern on the walls though. I feel like there could be more texture there, maybe.

All things considered, a really nice conversion, awesome stuff!

I'm guessing some sort of foam "egg" from a craft store and then it looks like spray expanding foam around the base and as the "tendrils" up the sides?
