hey all, just got out of a serious period of warhammer blackout and I finally got around to digging them out again.

First is a tank that i constructed after Apoc. came out and I got a baneblade (eg. I didnt know this cannon would turn out to be something in the new codex )


the next two are some guys i just built out of random bitz
this is kinda a cool guy I didnt have any green stuff on hand so I cut down the weird commanders baton and swapped hands with some arms and I think it turned out to be a pretty good cigar
I also like his mag pouches, kinda reminds me of the way soldiers would keep M1 garand ammo around their belts


this is a guy who has just ran out of ammo in his Las-gun and is transitioning to his side arm. It looks a little grungy but i think once i get some green stuff and model a sling and clean it up a bit it will look quite nice

Thats all I have for now but Ill start posting some more of my guys later

I like the tank too, that and the guy up top spouting random quotes from the Imperial Infantryman's Uplifting Primer. At least that's what I imagine him doing.

^YES, he should have a pie. Anyway, the tank is nice! Only thing is I don't think that there would be barbed wire on a tank. It's cool, but it just doesn't fit. Sorry.

The Guy holding the cigar looks absolutely ace, he would be great to use as a veteran, you could just make a shotgun and put it on his back.

Thanks guys! When I made the tank I originally had kind of an urban theme thus the barbed wire Ill see if i can come up with a more official way of placing it on there.

The Cigar guy I think will end up as a platoon Sargent/ junior officer these were really kinda to add some more variety to my command squads

Wow, that's a very nice and cohesive army group you have there. It seems like you need some more rank and file troopers to fill it out, but the large vehicles look awesome

Just one thing about the tank though, the actual 'head' of it is to big and looks like it could snap off such a long barrel. I would cut down the barrel by a fair amount and bring the 'head' closer to the turret.

Color me even more impressed! your group looks great, and those Sentinels really stand out. great job!

and i could see barbed wire on the tank. it could be to keep people from jumping on and assaulting it(well fluff wise!).

The LS to sentinels conversions are ace, love the cigar sarg. oozes with character. Barbed wire on the tank is great, makes perfect sense. I can imagine some orks climbing on the tank, a few getting caught in the wire, buying time for the Commisar to smack 'em!

yeah Im hoping once i get some green stuff and another exato knife (i just broke it like 2 min ago) that i can fix it up

thanks! Yeah i have another squad in the works the only problem is I kinda dont wanna spend a ton more money on 40k


My next project is to make a Chimera for the vet's that resembles either a Bradley or a stryker
