Well, long story short, there's a Hobbytown USA in the area that has some pretty old paint. They were selling old GW inks "2 for 1" and I noticed on a rack in the back they had at least 4 old cans of Blood Red spraypaint.

I was thinking of doing Behemoth-themed Tyranids and thought it would be perfect, but I've never used anything but their overpriced crappy black/white sprays. Not only that, but this stuff is old, they quit making it years ago, will it even still be usable?

I would believe so, paint kept at room temperature in a spray can should last a long long long time. I would test it on a sprue first of course and instead of only shaking it for 2 minutes I would do it for 10 or take it to walmart and see if they will put it on the paint shaker lol.

I am doing behemoth tyranids as well but spraying black and painting it red by hand...I think it looks better that way.

I think it should be fine. Just make sure to test it on something not important first, so in case it is bad it doesn't ruin the model.

I agree. The only nice thing I can say about GW paints, is they seem to last pretty much forever. Someday when our civilization has been buried and gone, someone will dig up GW paints, and somehow, those things will still work with some water. Give it a shot
