As for skin - it's generally standard flesh tones but with added reddish brown (scorched brown) on all stages (even washes)

Awesome stuff, great painting and lots of character. The only bad thing is the head on the LS gunner, that head is so insanely ugly, it's the lamest haircut ever, and it doesn't fit in with the rest of the SW range IMO.

Still, great stuff

Oh - this was so long ago
But I think I've used drybrushing from black then grey and finally white. Also some washes with black and brown colours

Sublime skintones on the wulfen and speeder pilots.

A small ball of greenstuff will help the use of the scout heads on normal marines, helps prevent the sunken head look.
