I am looking for a few new and fresh ideas for CCW for Dread #3 I am building.

Anyone have any ideas to throw at me?

A board with a nail in it.

Jackhammer, sword, hammer, chainsaw?

A very nasty/scary looking claw.

I have had what I think is a pretty good idea for CCW #2.
I dont have any kind of a pic but see if you can imagine this.

A man catcher with a blade on it to slice poor caught space marine in two.
I had a small picture of it drawn up and my wife said kinda like a castration device.
I am now giving second thoughts know.

If you haven't seen mine already, I made a few CCW conversions that might give you a few ideas...

The flail you have is already far, far better then the limp flails you usually see on Chaos dreads. Probably my least favorite weapon on an otherwise awesome unit - it's just poorly rendered and looks like a handful of spaghetti handing out of the side.

Might I suggest winding a thin wire through the chain, to give it some pose-ability. Perhaps an S shape.

Before the Ironclad Dreadnought was released, I always pictured the Seismic hammer looking like... well, a giant hammer of some sort, brimming with wires and a giant plate and in this Chaos iteration, perhaps some spikes.

A drill would look pretty cool

@Ouze - About the flail I made. It is permanently in that position. I put drops of Super Glue on the chain and there she shall stay.

Here is the first CCW I have made for this guy.

Kind of a man catcher/cigar slicer combo. Its a little big but I like it.

My advice would be:

As you have two arms, mount a huge blender on one, and a klaw for grabbin' victims on the other one!

Big screws from a hardware store make awesome augers.This wood screw has spiky bitz on the end.

Fans from old PC cards (I am using the fan from an old ATI graphics card) make awesome spiny bitz when you glue plasticard blades to the actual fan blades.
Then, I re purposed the electromagnet as a power source for a different Killa Kan. Hehe, it looks like a tiny arc reactor

On my Deffdread, I have three DCCW. In a past life, it was a Bionicle Happy Meal Toy from McDonalds. (Old WIP Pics, BTW. I need to take hi-res pics of the final painted version, now with smoke stack!)


A buzz saw from a cheap toy I found at a drug store.______The original Boinicle pincer arm with cables added to it.


A raised foot with shaved sprue bits held in place by GS._____Added armor plates with rivits to the leg to bulk it up.


And, as a bonus, he has an cool feature he inherited from the Bionacle toy I tore apart to make the body. His eyes light up
