Subject: Feudal World unit ideas?

I'm currently working on a crusading feudal-world themed imperial guard army to complement black templars for a doubles army. However, other than lots of men, large blobs of rough riders (and the obligatory mogul kamir stand in), can anyone think of any other unit ideas?
Any and all help appreciated.

I know Bretonian men-at-arms work very well.

If you're not going to use GW miniatures, Perry Miniatures have some great looking models.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do |

Empire is too much for a black templars look. Take historical man at arms or bretonnians if you need to play at GW.
