Okay my friend and I are switching armys for tonight, I've been rolling him with the green things for a few games now - so our blood is up!
This means he'll be playing Orks and I'll have access to his creatures of the warp! We aren't sure of the points just yet but it's going to be a big one 2500-3000+.

So I want to run a 'shooty' list with the beasts of the warp - and I don't want to run Fateweaver+Bloodcrushes (I was told this might remove the 'fun' )

So here's what I want to work with for the moment

Update: I'm thinking of two soul grinders with a prince for the heavy support.
I need another herald for my HQ, no idea what I should use but maybe somehitng to create some foot troopy aspect?

*I'm very very open to suggestions but I do kinda way to stick with the ranged theme (even if it's just 6")

So that's the bones of it, What else should I run to fill my HQ?
What about troops should there be some nergle in there give me a hand!!

T-herald is not bad.

What is the BoT on flamers for? Since you have the best template weapon in the whole game, you would want them to go closer and closer to your enemy...

Ah I see what you mean - just looked at the 'dex they are Jump, so the 24" range will be eaten up fairly quickly - I was thinking it'd get 2 maybe 3 uses before the first lot of templates.
Take blot of each and put another guy in for now is what I'll do.

I'll also put a T-herald in for now, should he have a disc/chariot - and gear like, icon, breath, bolt?

Split the horrors into units of 10. And by god, get a couple banners in there! lol

go for nurgle tn 5 + feel no pain means plague bearers have nothing to fear from da boyz. certainly great unclean ones don't. and you can use nurglings for sandbagging the badguys. take epidamus and watch how fast those wounds pile up. I cant think of even one unit of nurgle demons that wouldn't be awesome in that fight. add fateweaver to make your guys even tougher and i'm not sure that the orks can even respond.

Okay splitting the horrors now I want to keep the changlings squad at 20 thou.. does this seem smart because I'm an ork player? And maybe just 4 squads of horrors leaving room for something - nerglings/slanesh??
And... umm going to sound really dumb, Banners they are Chaos icons... right??? >_<

remember orks are strength 3. 6 to wound plague bearers.

Deamon prince or 3rd Grinder?
Fateweaver or something more "fun"?



(I own many many points of orks so I'm not going to be crippled buy running outof flex room - even if we need to sub a little from another army for the deamons)
