I need your help Dakka! There are a few Space Marine models that I would really, really like to buy, but I am pretty sure they are out of production. Can anyone point me in the right direction on where to look to buy them? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

I just bought a few bits from these people:

Quick delivery, and IMHO the prices are realistic...

I would reccomend Ebay or Bartertown.com. Although I dont usually look for oop models, I see oop stuff all the time. In the meantime make a post in the swap shop here and Bartertown and you should get some reasonable offers eventually.

Thanks guys. I will start a topic in the Swap Shop, but also to let any of you know who read this thread I am specifically looking for the Roman looking SM. Especially one that isn't really that old, but I don't think they make anymore. It is the company champion, ie the guy with the Roman plume and storm bolter in the front and center of the picture. I used to see many more pictures of him, but not anymore. Thanks again guys!

He isn't made anymore because he was an Army Box model.

The AB models sadly go for a metric buttload on Ebay and very rarely do I see any up for trades. There's a guy over in Nottingham who sells them on Ebay, I know that. But there's also some git who basically watches his auctions and tries to drive the prices up.

Can you give me some info on it? Like what is the models proper tag and such. I really want a few of them, but will take one if I can find it somewhere. Thanks in advance.

So, one for £70 and one for £50... and you want more than one...? Perhaps just get one and 'construct' more.

Heh. That's CHEAP compared to the Dark Angels Chapter Master I got off eBay. Some spanker drove it up to nearly 90 GBP.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

I am sure that I will start with my veterans, to get them up to that standard, but I really, really like that model.
