Hi.

Last month I picked up a ten man squad of Legion of the Damned. I don't really play 40k and I definitely don't collect Marines, but I just couldn't help myself. Oh well.

I have never painted Space Marines before but I thought it would be a good idea to paint them in parts to reach all the details. Here is the first 4 models, missing weapons and backpacks. I did paint them in batch of 5, but just before dipping I noticed that I had missed some details on the fifth one and it will be finished among the next 5 models. In addition to weapons and backpacks, I also need to add some highlights to their eyes, some text on purity seals and scrolls, plus some static grass on the base.

Unfortunately, it will take at least a week before the next update. I accidentally a super glue bottle.

Any comments, critique, suggestions?

That place is the harsh dark future far left with only war left.

I agree, those are some nicely sculpted minis, with equally nice paint jobs. Cant wait to see them finished.

Those are looking nice, but I'm not a fan of the mauve-ish rims on their bases. It really clashes with the paint scheme in an unattractive way. The models themselves look great though.

Excellent job, but the flat grey on the base could do with some work IMO.

They don't come in plastic . . . They're still metal. Hence the £40 for a 10 man squad.

And those models are looking awesome so far. Keep up the good work =]
