Not work at all.

Both templars and GKs is mainly for close combat. You have not enough reliable way to deliver them into combat, while the shooting of your army is poor.

Reduce the number of termies (e.g 5 men in a squad, give them proper abilities like FC and equipments) then fill them into 2 LRCs.

Find some transport vehicles for your troops.

i dont have 2 LRCs... so what should i do. And i need many LCs to destroy IG tanks.

Where are the Grey Knights getting the rhino from? One of the Initiates squads?



This is silly! Buttons are not how one escapes dungeons! I would smash the button and rain beatings liberally down on the wizard for playing such a trick!

I think you'll have huge issues in dealing with numbers. You have 3 5 man troop squads. So in a scoring unit based scenario, you have a total of 15 models that can nab up objectives. That's really really low. You'll have to be careful about that.

Teleport your termies?

Well, after you teleport them to the table, you cannot tie them into close combat the same turn. So your opponent has a whole turn to do 2 things:

1) Shoot you to pieces.
2) If "1)" cannot be completed by his nearby units, move valueable units away.

To avoid that, your DS unit should have at least one of the properties below:
1) They can have some big kills in first shooting after landing(like obliteraters, zoanthropes, etc)
2) Or, you have many of such units(Like all-droppod SM)
3) Or, you have many wounds to avoid casualty from shooting (like GUO, Trygon)

Your teminators units have NONE of them.

ok so basically cuz im playing a lot of chaos and IG, should i take out the 8 Term squad and put in more initiates?

Ok this is my new Army list. Keep in mind that i am against a lot of Chaos and a lot of IG.

HQ
Emperors Champion accept any challenge

Grey Knights grand master with thing which gives -1 initiative to all chaos models and reduse daemons weapon skill in 2 times (i mean 1/2 daemons weapon skill)
with 5 grey knights terminators

Elites
Dreadnaught
+Lascannon
+Crack
+Venerable

Troops
10 initiates with power fist and meltagun
9 initiates with rhino plasma gun and plasma cannon
10 initiates with power fist and meltagun with rhino

Heavy Support
LRC
Predator Destructor

Way better in my opinion. I love initiates a lot and powerfist/meltaguns can crack open heavy tanks and bigger infantry like no other (even more so if you stick the champion with them).

With the boosted numbers you'll be more durable and wont feel a lucky plasma cannon shot as much as you would before. One good shoot from a plasma cannon before and you could lose 5 models and be down a third of your troop choice in one hit.

Try and get the pred some heavy bolter addons. They kill IG pretty good.

the biggest thing you are missing I see is anti tank. The melta guns help but against a tank heavy IG army... You may need to try and get a tri lascannon pred out there (if you can).

yea thx. thats what i was thinking. And you can shoot out of a rhino right? so that is a plus. I have Dreadnaught and tri lascannon on the pred. They usually have 10 tanks.. so yea.

in order to keep 1750 points i think i would have to take out the vindicator. So basically im adding 2-3 rhino's and taking away the vindicator.

Do you think taht is a good idea?
