I'm looking for a simple Skeleton sprue as I want to model some dead enemies for bases.

I've had a look around but can't seem to find just plain human/ork 28mm skeletons anywhere!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Inb4 the 'DUR use Googelz' flames

GW Tomb King's/VC skeletons, shouldn't be too difficult to use (just file off some of armour bits if at all necesssary).

If not look for some of the old (not the latest ones, but ones before that) skeleton warrior sprues on ebay.

I smashed google but couldn't find what I wanted (should have put that in OP)

The tomb warriors ones are my back up in case nothing else turns up.

Ebay is dry at the mo. except for £40 box set.

Tomb kings ARE the old skeleton sprues with a few extra sprues chucked in. Go with them, they're your only option really.

The VC skeletons look a hell of a lot better.

a while back I came across an ebay store that sold single complete models out of boxed sets, i.e. individual space marines with bolters.

Search fu ebay and you will likely find something. Or try hoard o bits.

what exactly is wrong with the Tomb King/Vampire Count skeletons?

The VC ones are only good for being necromantically reanimated skeletons, they're awful for bases and terrain. I don't know what the OP has against the TK ones.

I have used them and found them to be very good. Not currently showing allot of stock but if you call them I'm sure they could help you out.

There are other bits services available of course, just search the forums for bitz services and you should find some others if this is not to your taste/needs.

It's the generic GW skeleton kit that served the VC for a long time. I used to have almost two hundred of them. If it weren't for the fact you're in the uk I'd just send you a box full of broken ones.

You might try Reaper, their skeletons are metal but I think they are unarmored.
