I very excitedly took receipt of some custom laser cut Eldar structures I've just had produced through Daisy Moon Designs - http://daisymoondesigns.co.uk (they actually do laser cutting for the craft market primarily).
I've got the same design at 40mm and 200mm - here's my original sketch:
And here are the finished results:
I'll be mounting the small shapes in a line on a 150mm base as tank traps for Cities of Death, and I haven't yet thought up a use for the large ones, but I'll probably simply mount them and use them as terrain.
What do you think? The shapes will be added to the Daisy Moon in the near future for anyone who wants some of their own

Looks cool! Keep the laser away from me, though, who knows WHAT I would destroy with that thing

You could use plastic card and make wall section out of the large ones, using the Eldar sections as up rights....killer Eldar Defence Wall of Wraithbone!

For the large one.
Make connections between them to use as "Struts" to a "Forcefield" Defensive wall. Elecrical pylons, if you would.
Set them up in a row, add a plasticard or foamcore 'road' atop them. You now have an Eldar highway.
Break in half, lay top part next to it. You've got a peice of ruins.
Lay them on their 'spine' and make an Asterix. You've got an awesome looking "Teleport" site for apocalypse games. ( Units come in the middle )
Make various size ones, put discs atop them and you get various platform levels.
I can see many possibilities! It's pretty awesome! Kudo's!
I might suggest that you make some...bumps. Take beads, cut in half, glue in place. Most eldar bits have those, and it'd make it look more.. three dimensional.

This gives me an idea. Create a laser-cutter pattern with all the parts of the papercraft Raider plans you can find online, then replicate an endless supply of Dark Eldar vehicles...
If you need me, I'll be at my local craft workshop co-op...

Bear in mind that I'm a very casual player, and any advice I give will reflect that tendency.

Something cool for the larger ones would be putting them together with something in the middle, making it look like some sort of beacon/shrine/teleport thingy ^^

Looks good. Should be effective painted up, even just as random terrain pieces.

The results are very neat and tidy and possibilities are endless.
Everyone has been very polite so far so i'll ask it.....
How much did this cost?

Same question.
They look awsome. Thinking if they're not too expensive I have a few designs I might get made.

In my opinion it was very reasonable - I had 40 of the small ones cut at 25p each and 10 of the large at 95p each (that's British currency for anyone who doesn't know - equates to approx US$0.39 and US$1.5 through an online currency converter).
In total around £20 for plenty of pieces

Cheers for that. Sounds very reasonable to me.
Last question. How thick are the pieces?

I had these done in 3mm which makes them robust enough to stand up to gaming I reckon. They can certainly do thicker and probably thinner versions. If I get round to it I may sand off the edges to make them more organic.

I've just contacted the site and it looks very good, apparently pretty much anything can be cut (Material wise) so I might see if I can get some Iron Warrior/Chaos stuff cut for tanks/scenery ^^ Thanks much though, this site looks fantastic!

OK, here are some I've played around with and put on some bases:
Tank traps?
Barricades?
Please excuse the shoddy paint job on the warlock - he's a second hand purchase and he was just the closest model to hand!
BTW, the bases are from Dragon Forge Design - http://www.dragonforge.com/for%20sale%20images/dforge%20items%20for%20sale/base_blanks/40mm%20x%20150mm%20base%20blank.jpg - and are the perfect size for Cities of Death stratagems.
