Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

In setting up for a game, I thought you rolled for mission, then rolled for deployment....if objectives, you place them.

Someone just told me that you roll for mission, then place objectives, then roll for deployment. I'd never heard of that before. How do you play it?

I asked Gwar, who said that the rules aren't very clear.

*EDIT* I just read page 91, and it clearly says to place objectives before deciding deployment. I don't understand how I don't know this - is this not common practice?

For "Capture and Control," you have to roll for deployment first (as you must deploy your objective in your deployment zone). For "Seize Ground," you place objectives before rolling up deployment zones.

I've seen other people miss this; it's not an uncommon error.
