I made my own Manticore. I used a Chimera, the missiles from the Valkyrie, and one of the turrets from the Planetstrike buildings. I wish I'd done it more turret like so as to match the actual Manticore model better, but this was easier. Looks more like a remote control fired vehicle now. Kind of cool in its own way.

I like the look of it. The missiles on the back makes it more intimidating. You're gonna paint it right. I will look a lot better painted.

Yeah, I've only sprayed it so far. The missiles need contrasting color or they'll just look silly.

Great! The only thing i dont like about it, is that it has the small tank on the bottom, but the missles make it look like itll topple over

yeah a bigger chasis would look better, but the missiles look mean :x, i certainly wouldnt want them pointed at me!

I can't imagine why anyone would hate Forgeworld, you may hate their prices but their mini's are superb most other things fall a very far second to what they produce. Oh and I agree with Jolly it kinda looks out of scale.

I think the turret needed to be centered more (a basilisk body would have been ideal for this).

Their models look nice but their quality is absurdly bad. You are literally paying about five times what you should for the materials and the quality of their casts is well below what it should be. I have never bought a Forgeworld model that didn't have extensive problems with bubbles, broken parts, mould lines, massive chipping, and missing parts. They have also been rude and obnoxious to me when I've requested help with the numerous problems I've had with their stuff. So I absolutely refuse to buy it any more.

Looking good! Can't wait to see it painted, as I can't really pick out the details at this moment. Once it's painted I'll be able to (hopefully!).
