OMG Today i fraggin got 4 1s on a assault cannon roll to hit TOTAL BS, i was about to go shave a cat!!!!!! lol please tell me if anything like this has ever happened to you

Trust me thats not as bad as rolling 4 1s on say, Terminator armor saves.

I once in a Cliky-Tech game missed and fumbled everthing in my first two turns and my opponent never missed and critted 1/2 the time. that was the longest 15 min in my life as a gamer.

Welcome to the WHFB Batrep section! Not many of us have rolled 4 1s on an assault cannon down here. Is this typical of posts up in 40k land?

i rolled 7 1's on a skaven roll for the dreded thirteenth spell. and yes i was using 7 dice. we declared the farseer dead through warpstone death and mishap i did not win that game

If I rolled 7 1's I'd think about killing a model that wasn't even in the game too.

I did something like that once. I was shooting with my gladeriders at some skink skirmish-es, half-range. I got 6 1`s and 2 2`s. The skinks shot back and killed every one of them with blowpipes

The seven 1s thing must be some kind of curse, that actually happened to me yesterday.

I don't remember exactly what it was, but I rolled like, 10 dice and got SEVEN 1s. It was astounding.

Luckily I play Dark Elves so I got to re-roll them because it was the first round of close combat.

Oh they can be fickle, alright. Sometimes they toy with you first. I had 10x thunderers shooting at a big block of night goblins. Only needed 4's to hit, but they were smiling on me at that time and I hit with all my shots. I soon realized the smile was just the start of a laugh because I proceeded to only wound one with only needing 3's. Oh well, that's how the dice roll.

Last night, my opponent rolled snake eyes when rolling to wound my noble on great stag, and standard bearer (the last two models alive in the unit).

I, on the other hand, rolled snake eyes on my leadership check to stay in combat with my vastly outnumbered wardancers

I LOVE my dice. It's just the cheapo block of dice that GW sells with the multiple colors, the scatter, and the artillery dice. I just shake them up like crazy and let 'em fly. They're doing so, so, so much better than my chessex block did! That thing is gone to ebay

My dice have a bad habit of rolling average overall over the course of a game, but at the extremes individually. I'll toss out six 5+'s to hit and then six 1's and 2's to wound. I'll make three 6+ armor saves and then flub all of my attacks back. My Dark Riders will voluntarily flee 16" away and my Cold One Knights can't get past 6" when they try it just to get ran down by the Stegadon.

I'm constantly seeing dice roll the exact opposite of what I need.

"Ok, I need a bunch of 3s to hit...hey! A bunch of 6s!"
"Alright, now I need a bunch of 4s to wound...why did I roll all 3s?"

It is fething annoying.

i have learnt to use green dice rolls what i want. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHH!

I regularly miss 3 of the 4 assault cannon shots. Those make a little sense though. Its when a veteran sergeant misses a Land Raider that I get annoyed. You've been through combat for the past three hundred some odd years and you can't hit the broad side of a land raider? Cmon now.

I once assaulted the equivalent of 3 or 4 guardsmen. With 18 space marines.

They didn't even need to roll an armor save. Out of 36 dice, 4 hit. No wounds.

At the end of the game. I killed 1 guardsman. And lost just about every last one of those marines. (My low rolling kept me from ever falling back at least)

This was in a RT tournament in 03 or 04.... Cost me the game that one did.

Last night with three dice I rolled three 1's I got re-rolls on all of them I rolled three 1's again my brain is not big enough to work out the mathematical chances of this. I have burt the three dice and scattered their ashes on a small apple tree.

I had a friend who was playing with a Daemon Prince. A few bolters manage to score four wounds on the DP. My friend rolls four 1's.

Buddy of mine rolled around 10 ones when his templars got shot at one game. One full squad wiped out by one round of regular bolter fire.
My farseer recently failed his ld check and he and his squad of 8 dire avengers were over ran by fire warriors. It was a sad day.

The other day I was playing with my Khorne themed beastman army against a super cheesy VC list (the one with 14+ power dice).

Every magic phase he either failed to cast or got a miscast. It was kinds sad after a while.

I had one lvl 1 bray shaman and managed to cast dark hand of death with irresistible force almost every magic phase and in one he rolled all 6 of his dispel dice and got 4 1's.

So more bad rolling for him and extremely good rolling for me. Probably the first time a Khorne army had better magic then VC.

Luckily for me my LGS owner just happens to be Gandalf so whenever my dice are rolling bad I have him bless them.

I've rolled 5 1's for terminator saves on a 5 man squad.

Turn 2 in a 1250 point game.... ouch.

I had a SM captain and five marines assault a 6 man fire warrior team. For the next three turns all of my power weapon attacks missed (4 a turn at 3+) and ended the game still in combat (each side having lost 1 model at some point). I didn't know whether to demote my captain or just curse those talented fire warriors.

My brother spent an entire turn shooting at my warboss once. This was a 1500pt game. So he missed or failed to wound ALOT. Until that damn razorback started shooting. Then I failed 3 of 3 wounds and died.

I presume everyone keeps their dice in a soft leather pouch, on them at all times, and in a pocket as close to their genitals as possible.

I mean, if you don't, the bad rolls are really your own fault.

I'm well know in my group of friends as the worst dice roller around. I once rolled for 32 savage orks on the charge and didn't get a single hit.

My biggest thing in 40k is the fact I can usually hit no problem, it's just wounding/penetrating. I consistently roll ones when it's wound on 2+.

I don't really care though - it's just a game of toy soldiers!

Once had a game that over 3 turns I penetrated a demolisher 11 times and only stunned it.

Went after a 4 man squad of Dire Avenger with 5 pf termies. Ended up killing 2 of them out of 15 attacks.
