Annoyed Blood Angel Devastator

According to the novel Red Fury the Blood Angels took a tithe of marines from each of their successor chapters, how would this affect the overall manner of the Blood Angels as a whole?
How would these marines be organised, would they retain any of their original customs?
Would the Angels Sanguine recruits show their possible mutation?
How would it affect the Death Company?
How would they stop the animosity between the different factions?
Anybody out there got any ideas?

I'm not an expert but I would probably say the people they recruited would wear blood angels armour but retain chapter logo's on one of their shoulder pads. Also Angels sanguine? never heard of them but just a guess is the mutation wings?

All Blood Angels successor Chapters have been cursed with the genetic flaws of their founding Chapter... with one exception. The Lamenters managed, somehow, to eliminate them all. But they've had utterly terrible luck in battles and have now been all but wiped out.
Every astropathic message or ship sent by the Blood Angels to request information and assistance comes back empty handed or unanswered...
So in game/fluff terms, until the BA Codex is released in April, assume that they're exactly the same in terms of organisation, loadouts, equipment, tactics and genetic flaws.
Unless you want to play as the Lamenters, in which case to stick with the fluff you're just a bog-stock Astartes Chapter who'll roll an awful lot of ones...

While on the topic of sucsessor chapters. Codex Chapters are said to have 100's if not 1,000s of sucsessors. Do the Blood Angels for many other sucsessor chaptes we've never heard of? Or dose the fluff suggest that they are only limited to: Flesh Tearers, Lamenters, Blood Drinkers, and Angels Sanguine?

Not quite. There were 10 loyal chapters at the end of the Heresy. There are around 1000 now. And once the First Founding Chapters had split, successors were taken from their successors, and so on, so not every one was taken from the original 10.

Yes, I'm 99.9% they do. The ones you've listed there are just the second founding chapters, there could be any number of succesors after them.

The series the OP did refer to had 6-10 successors contributing a "tithe".
Already this series is at the next installment, "black tide". ( BA and FT team up to hunt bile. ).
Seems the BA get neophytes, or newly promoted battlebrothers as "tithe", so most of them will able to adopt to the BA way and form a BA force and have them follow the BA traditions.
Would assume the new BA are put into mixed squads. Pure chapter [ insert successor here ] marine squads may lead to undesired
effects, like elitism, and such...

On the suject of successor chapters, the quantity of them each first founding produced was based on it's overall strength at the time of the founding.
The Ultramarines being the largest legion produced the most second founding chapters.
Seeing as though it was the Blood Angels who committed a high proportion of their legion to the defense of Terra they would have suffered the most casualties prior to the second founding.
Not to mention all gene seed is screened by the Adeptus Mechanicus it stands to reason they would have relatively few successor chapters to limit the affect of the genetic curse that afflicts them.

Another question as the progenoid glands are the 18th organ to be implanted into a new space marine would the tithe troops be sent before or after this stage?

It's been a while since I read the book but I thought the tithe was for applicants, I.E before the gene seed was inserted. So they would be implanted with Blood Angels gene seed. All Chapters retain a reserve. Also Space marines go through such heavy indoctrination most barely remember their human lives, so that shouldn't be a massive factor

At the start of Black Tide Corbulo is addressing the new initiates and most of them are full space marines, this means that by the time they were sent to Baal they were already most of the way to being space marines.
Black Tide is only set a few months after Red Fury so there wouldn't be time to fully transform raw recruits, so they must already have been scouts in their respective initial chapters, which would mean they were already most of the way through the implantation process.

Just to nitpick, there was not one single "Chapter" (in the M40 sense of the word) at the end of The Heresy. There were 20 Legions, 9 loyal, 9 traitor and 2 unknowns.
