I like it!

BUt is it just me, or are we yet to see suitably large wings on this scale of model? They've always seemed a bit diddy to me?

You never see 'correctly' scaled wings for minis. The piddly wings on the bloodthirsters (GW and FW) are both entirely too small, the LOC also.

There are a few floating around with wings that seem to fit (Heresy's Angel springs to mind)... but really, wings on a man-sized creature are never really going to be an 'appropriate' size, since nothing that large could actually fly anyway. So many sculptors seem to go with the 'well, if they're big enough to give the general idea, job's a good 'un... He flies by magic rather than wingbeats anyway' approach.

On these, the birdy bloke is brilliant. And the minotaur, while a little cartoony for my taste, is so far above the new GW ones as to not even be comparable.

Considering the torsos are too small to accomodate the musculature for flight on any of those models as well, I guess we need to chalk up their flying abilities to magic as Insaniak mentioned.

Elusive - WTH? You've found a really good-looking model. Have you transferred your bad-model-finding abilities to Kid Kyoto and reaped the benefits?

Got some close ups on the pic? Very curious how the casting process went on that figure.

You can make it up to us by finding a suitably horrible mini to pick up the slack.

lol, gargoyles (along with santa, the easter bunny, and mind flayers among other things) are not real. i think the previous posts were commenting as to whether a creature with that musculature and wingspan could fly (hence the "it must be magic" flight conclusions). it is quite the nice sculpt though... i could definitely see people using it in a fantasy chaos army (not so much 40k though).
