Okay, so I like building and painting miniatures randomly and then selling them. I have concluded that my next two figures will be orky in nature. I want to pick up a Battlewagon and a Deff Dread.

What is a COMPETITIVE armament for these figures? I want something fairly generic, but still useful to a prospective buyer.

I once painted a guard platoon with Grenade Launchers and Mortars because it looked cool. It didn't sell well and I'm not looking to repeat my mistake.

Well, for starters:

1. Abandon the deff dread. Instead, get a box of killa-kans. Equip all three of them with rokkit launchas, and you're set to sell them.

2. Battlewagons are more iffy. People use them for different purposes. Some for shooting platforms, some for mobile assault launchers. If you magnetize a few hard points and provide a couple big shootas and a couple rokkit launchas, you'll be all set for weaponry. Deff Rolla is a *must* You'll have to built it yourself, or buy the upgrade kit.

My wagons: 1x Big Shoota, Boarding Plank, Deff Rolla, Grabby Klaw

Basic assault platform for its contents.

Is the Grabby Klaw and Boarding Plank actually good? I play marines normally, and it sounds insane. You'd have to be on top of another vehicle to use them.

Definitely going to magnetize it. Is it worth magnetizing the deff rolla/reinforced ram?

Also, what would you kit out for a shooting platform?

However, I think I'm going to stick with the deff dread. Killa kans just don't look as fun to assemble. I guess I'll probably just keep it for fun though.

If you're running Deff Dreads, you need to run a bunch. Probably at least 3. A single Deff Dread is a fire magnet. 3 are quite tough. I've run a list with 5, and then they're a nightmare for your opponent.

If your ultimate goal is to sell them, why don't you magnetize the weapon/upgrade options (or at least some of them in the case of the battle wagon).

I would think this would increase the number of people likely to pick up the model, and it's not too much more work, just takes a drill and some cheap magnets.
