Recently at a tourney I had a couple Wraithlords in a DoW game. I figured I'd still have to make my Wraithsight tests to move onto the board first turn, but I rolled snake eyes...

We called them as destroyed, which didn't bother me, as they didn't walk onto the board on Turn 1 as they are required to, but I begin to qonder if I should have rolled at all. After all, how did Tyranid instinctive behaviour ever work in the last codex when in this situation or when entering as reserves/without number?

Never leave home without a farseer. I believe rolling was correct, you have to take it every turn.

Ah, I see now. I remembered the rule regarding reserves, but didn't bother to look into whether or not it applied - I remembered it as 'movement'.

Haven't actually looked at the rulebook recently, but now I see that Dawn of War first turn movement is specifically '...just like units moving in from reserves.'

Yeah, you shouldn't have rolled for Wraithsight.
