The Angels of Morbious are my homebrew Chaos Renegade Chapter. Now I know what you all are thinking "Omg Chaos Renegades how noob." This isn't this is something I carefully planned out and have a much better name imo.

The Angels of Morbious come from the now dead world also called Morbidous. Led by the former Chief Librarian Rouk Shadowbrand, Who now has become a Daemon Prince.

Morbidous was a civilized world as it supported a Space Marine Chapter it did not have to support a guardsmen tithe. But a PDF force was assembled just in case.

Morbious was very wooded and had two major oceans the climate was very mild but fairly cold at winter time.

Eldar- Old rivals even before their days as renegades.

The chapter was formed in M35 as a Dark Angels Successor Chapter. It was very distant from the circle and the various things the Dark Angels did and they
were not too committed to the hunt for the fallen.

This of course gave the parent chapter a foul taste towards the Angels of Morbious, But they simply stayed on their side of the galaxy and the Dark Angels to their own.

The people of Morbidous lived in constant fear their world had a Ork problem and frequent Dark Eldar raids. However the Angels fought with all their heart to purge the greenskins. And sophisticated radar systems to fight the Dark Eldar.

Morbious was safe and the Angels free to go out into the universe.

The chapter went on a crusade to safeguard part of the Halo Stars. On Morbidous III the Angels found the world to be completely dead. Strange ruins with a glowing green essence were found. The Chapters former Chapter Master Sigurd IronHammar had a fascination with these ruins.

Sigurd sent Shadowbrand to the world of Sakuras a Night-world
The Population of Sakuras had a blight a plague that reanimated the dead. After a bloody three years of purging Shadowbrand saved Sakuras. He had grown a twisted Fascination with the diesase.

Did the Librarian kill the ChapterMaster and Chaplin?

Yes. Shadowbrand killed Burzum and Shagrath after a bitter long war.

Also I feel I have to put this in. The Angels of Morbious are not as arrogant as they sound. They had bigger problems then finding the Fallen. Their world had a bad Ork problem and often the Dark Eldar raided their world. So running across the galaxy was low on their agenda.

I wana try to make a logo for these guys.
