Doesn't even have to be for free either.

I'd pay for fully searchable PDF's.

No kidding!

GW is *clearly* a miniatures company, so they should be doing this too - even if they charge a bit for it!

The UNA doesn't look too bad, now that I think about it. Too bad more people don't play AT-43.

UNA fits perfectly in most generic sci-fi elite soldiers. Abit hard with GW since they are techno-goth , but it looks decent in IG , and perfectly ok as Elysians

I am very glad that they finally posted the full rulebook. The one before was good, but it lacked a pretty important bit out regarding building companies.

I never understood why they basically gave the book away but left that one bit out.

I dont think it was to force the consumers into buying the book, I think it was just an oversight.

I *should* be a bit ticked off as I just got the new Ram Army Book a couple of weeks ago. But I'm not as I think getting everything else for free is enough compensation

Yup. Free army books and full rules is the way to go!

For myself, if I'm playing a game, I prefer to have actual books anyway... but the PDF's are handy for checking out how everything works before diving in.

Well, I like a "properly bound" book for reading in bed or wherever, but I'd actually rather use a spiral bound pdf for playing purposes as they actually stay open at a page without having to have their spines broken. Also having access to free colour laser printing and spiral binding at work helps

Cheers

What is the future of this game look like?

Can anyone give me a rundown of how the long term is going to go for these people? I/E is this game worth continuing entertaining, or should I go on ahead and start looking for buyers?

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

I doubt anyone has a crystal ball strong enough to answer that competently.

Only you can answer that question really.

Grot 6 is asking if anyone knows exactly how Rackham and the holding company in charge of Rackham now are operating in regards to the future, because he doesn't want to dive into a game that's going to have models available for the next few months and have the company die off.

I'd be wary of R, but then I am a bit biased.

Though their recent track record doesn't inspire too much confidence...
