Drop the prism and take an avatar instead.

I would drop the scatter from the Wraithlord, give him EML/BL or just BL if you can't find the points. His BS
and tough/wounds give him better use of a BL than a war walker. I'd make your walkers dual-scatter lasers.

If you are paying for a 10 man DA squad with an exarch and bladestorm, you want to at least pay for the Dual
Catapults to make that exarch earn his 12 point upgrade.

I count you having 4 heavy support choices. Unless I'm wrong, get rid of one.

Tactically, this is a hybrid list of ground units and a couple serpent squads. I think perhaps that I'd use the DA's
in a serpent and use the Shees for hidden counter-assault. It also gives you the opportunity to race one of your
troops across the board in objective games.

edit: I think your point costs on the guardian squad warlock's gear/abilities are wrong. Also you might not want
to post points for specific wargear, just points for the unit.

Well, looks semi-competitive.
Banshees on foot will be shot down at first sight.
The Guardians will run after they have take a few casualties. Give the Warlock embolden and stick them into cover.

you suggesting it's better to put Banshees in WS instead of DA?

If you do that what are you going to do about long range objective snagging? However you are still gonna need a WS for the Banshee's (People like shooting at them), unless they stay hidden out of LOS.

You are going to be horribly crippled against heavily armoured vehicles. I would suggest upgrading the shuriken cannons on the wave serpent to brightlances. This will help some.

I agree with the other suggestion about embolden for the guardians instead of conceal. Just use terrain to get cover!

Vectored engines on the Wave Serpent are not really that important unless you have turbo-boosted, so you can save some points there for more anti-tank like maybe a EML for the Dark Reapers. Also you want to keep your vehicles moving, spirit stones are better for this than vectored engines. Not being able to shoot is ok, not being able to move, unnacceptable! Especially for a transport.

I know it is a strange number Guardian squad but I can't fine any better way to fill the points, What'd you guys think?

Absolutely. Conceal used to be awesome until everything in the game started giving 4+ saves. Now you just find a couple of bushes and you're golden.

fast shot with the eml, on your dark reaper exarch, accually does more wounds, and has a better chance of popping a vehicle, I would replace fortune with doom, I think the banshees and the da and dark reapers will benefit from it alot more, banshees need a ws since no marine wants them alive, you can put you'r da on foot since they have decent range. If you lost some of the guardians and dropped the exarch from your da squad mabey a dark reaper or 2 you could bring in a squad of warp spiders or something. Good luck.

If you want a foot slogging cc unit, then either take Scorpions (for outflanking) or Harlies (with a Shadowseer).
They can eventually reach the enemy front rank unharmed.

How about now?? do I focus too much on elites?? I think I would go with this, it seems that I fully make use of all the points.

To be honestly. Do not type the list as fast as you can, please.
Actually you have only one troop choice, you need at least two.
Banshees and Harlies are redundant. Drop one of them, I would take just the Harlies.

My advice:
Every Eldar army needs at least 3 or better 4 troop choices.
Take two 5 FD squads without exarch.
Dark Reapers are way to expensive for what they can do.

Either you focus on DAVU or bike lists.

For basic advices read Mind War FTW or Spite for the Dice Gods or Way of Saim Hann or type "truth necrons" into Google.

If your are really a beginner and you do not have any models yet, buy some models you like and you want to paint. Imo it is the better way to start a hobby than to buy a "kick ass" list.
Army list discussions are okay, but it differs a bit concerning your local hobby scene. For example lots of "american tactis" (i.e. take exarch, which bladestorm, or fire pike) do not "work" here in germany (polemics, lol), or I consider them useless.
The best list from the internet is useless, unless you play a lot. Practice is the only way to become a good player.

Ok, sorry if I were a bit harsh.
But just as Rookie said, if you are totally new then you are much better off reading the rule book carefully so you know all the basic stuff by heart and then a tactics thread or two before you jump off to list making. Start playing at 1000pts or so and see what units/playstyle you like and go from there.

But mech is really the name of the game these days especially for squishy Eldars (if you dont go with Jetbikes), so get some dire Avengers, Fire Dragons and Wave Serpents first....

unnecessary ass-ness is what the internet is all about

You will want Runes on your farseer(both of them)

Cut the Howling Banshees in Half, and get rid of acrobatic; you will often strike first so the lost attacks will not be noticed(gives you 85 points) Maybe take Warshout

Cut the Harlequins in half, they won't get shot at do to veil of tears and are fast enough to initiate nearly all assaults(gives you 90 more points)

use the 175 points for another unit of Guardians(-130), pay for both runes(-25) and take the Warshout power(-5)

While I feel that you are better of starting with more basic tips then a list writeup some advice here will simply not work.
Acrobatic is a much better power than war shout. Also dont use small CC squads. A 5 man Harlie squad will be more or less useless after one round of combat. Either drop one squad or the other not half of each.

Basic tipps are better for beginners, especially direct after a game.
In games up to 1850 pts. I would never take any exarchs. Therefore I would equip the 10 Harlies with 2x fusion pistols and the shadowseer. But at this point I want to refer to tedurur again.

thanks, I know few basics to the game like rules, how to play, how to read the stat and stuff. But I've never use them in an actual game before, so on what I know, I came up with that original (Base to pick on their stats and which model I like) so I don't really know how to utilize each model, especially DA and Guardians, I realized that they are needed but just don't know how I use them.

DA are always a good choice. I would buy them.
If you are unsure, you can use them as Guardian Proxys (count as). After that you can buy more DA or Guardians instead.

If you are new to and want to play Eldar.

Start with x2 10 man Dire Avengers with Exarch and Bladestorm. Give Exarch dual cats. Put them in Wave Serpents with spirit stones and armed with Scatterlasers.

I think they are 277 pts per squad, do math on that, as I guessing.

Mess around with that and tell us what you think.
