Simple format, really. Nobz and Boyz smash face while Gretchin cower in cover. Rokkit Buggies bust transports, while the Wagons bust tanks (Rolla, Planks) and infantry (Rolla).

Considering saving up for this list and using it to fuel anything under 2500 I might want to play. The tough part is that the old Warbuggy models look like garbage. Not sure how I will go about making them.

Any thoughts on the list?

You do not need 'eavy armour on the nobz when you have cybork body and a painboy. Just use the 5+ save and then 4+ feel no pain. Save yourself those points and get another nob

Gretchin are waaay out with this mech list - what are they going to do?

As for warbuggies, you could convert trukks into buggies Just move the wheels so the chassis is closer to the ground and mount some rokkits on it.

Here's how to make rokkit buggies.

AoBR deffkoptas are cheap.

In my mech list, my gretchin stay in reserve and grab objective(s) in the rear so the the rest of my army can smash apart everything.

Thanks, that is a useful tutorial and cheap as hell. I will do that, most likely. Beats using half a trukk and half a bike.

Also, that is exactly what the Gretchin are for. Going to ground on an objective on my side, while the opponent struggles to deal with my five Wagons and six Buggies.

Removal of the 'Eavy Armor on Nobz with a unit of Gretchin (not both, just wun), would be enuff for a decent sized loota squad.

Or more Nobz.

And that is great konvershun to make new Ork Buggiez! :F

EDIT: Ah, you could prolly use some OOP trukks! Just put an ork wielding a rokkit launcha in the back and kall it a buggy.

Why not straightly take koptas? Buggies have no scout move.

Deffkoptas also don't have a 4+ cover save from a KFF.

Personal preference really.

My current flavor is two units of single deffkoptas with a buzzsaw, and one unit of warbuggies; half the time you don't go first anyway, so don't get the *real* benefit from the deffkoptas.

Aye, kopters get the 5+ as they're not vehicles.

How about turning one unit of boyz into Burnas? See dashofpepper's battlereports 1-5.

Looks good either way. Losing Ghaz means you could squeeze some extra things in there.

With the deff rolla ruling and the rise in number of bws.... does it now make sense to take two big meks with kff and drop ghaz? The ability to have two floating armored clumps with 4+ saves is more important than gahz's improved waaagh and his cc killieness?

At least its something to play around with and test out. Once the bw count hits the 5-6 range one kff just isnt enough, and being able to split the armored wave into two supporting groups adds a lot of flexibility. Running 6 bws into one section of the enemy army is at times overkill.

Sliggoth

Why does my eldar army run three fire prisms? Because the rules wont let me use four in (regular 40k).

Well, they are AV14, so they are survivable without a KFF, anyhow. 6? That is too much money, let alone points.

Yeah, but people will go out of there way to get to the sides. Mobiles melts is best. Land speeders and attack bikes will easily get the AV12. KFF is an auto buy in mech.

6 wagons is a lot though, but would be cool.

Yea, but they can't stop them all. That is the idea, at least.

I guess if you had the power to take out their fire power, but for that you'd really need lootas or something. They would take out the speeders quickly to avoid them shooting at all.

You have buggies for that I guess.
