Alright, so I just got my very first tac squad (new to 40k) and i made one of my space marines to hold 2 plasma pistols. I would like to know if this is a bad thing. Would I not be aloud to use it in games against others? I think it looks really cool but I wasn't sure if I would be aloud to use it. Can someone please fix my confusing situation?!?!?!?!

yeah mate he can only use one at a time, BUT 40k is about having fun so keep him but for game rules just shoot one.

LOL shadow, seems me and you are on the same wavelength i did the exact same thing, and gave my Dual Wielding Marine the Beaky helmet and the nobby shoulders to boot

I had this problem with my little Bro. He wanted to make his space marines the most badass looking things in the world and had them duel-wield EVERYTHING. From chainswords to las-cannons. It's all good, but for rules sake, just shoot one.

Wow I'm glad I wasn't the only one lol. I was thinking about dualing the chain-swords but I tryed to keep the overkill down and just when with one badass plasma dualing space marine haha. but I still need to know, are you allowed to have 2 marines in a squad with chainswords?

Trust me you're definitely not the only one, LOL. I think my first dual-wielder had two power axes. As for limits wise you can only have one chainsword in a tactical squad and that is carried by the Sgt. You can either discount the extra chainsword or split the tactical squad into two 5 man combat squads each led by a sgt. Rule buffs correct me if thats wrong

I had a camera but apparently it got lost in the void of my completely clean room lol. Just think of an ultramarine aiming down the sights of a plasma in his left hand and holding the other one pointing up like hes not using it. Also, thanks for letting me know about the whole "chain-sword" thing. Now I can start my journey on building the biggest, baddest, most god-worthy, legally playable Ultramarine army EVEEEEEEEERRR!!!!! lol

Call it a plasma gun- he's a such a crack shot with plasma pistols, he snipes fools with them! at close range, he unleashes a hail of shots from both pistols!
