Hey everyone,
I was just wondering, what's the worst case scenario if you don't pay for a purchase on Ebay? I know this sounds stupid, but I bid a Trygon last night in attempt to gauge how much it was going to sell for..in order to consider trading some of my 40k stuff. I didn't think I would win, even though I do eventually want one. Unfortunately, right now my budget's a bit tight and my GF wasn't too happy to find out about it either.
So, should I contact the seller and try to explain my situation? Bite the bullet and pay for it and attempt to resell it...or perhaps make due without it? OR just don't pay within the required Business days?
Assuming worst case scenario, or perhaps most likely scenario...what do you think would happen?

Worst case Scenario the seller becomes enraged that for the 20th time this week someone won an item and wouldn't pay up. he uses his connections in the phone industry to locate where you live, comes round and murders you. That is probably worse case.

LOL, okay...
Now seriously though, I assume they could fire a non-paying bidder report. But, I know they can't leave negative feedback. I'm hoping I can work this out with him, or perhaps pay it and resell it in bits to make my money back. But does anyone know what happens when someone files a non-paying bidder report?

Your account may get closed. Just pay for what you bid for. Be a man, step up, and be responsible. Then don't do this sort of thing again - and enjoy your Trigon while patting yourself on the back for "lesson learned."

Worst case scenario: You take responsibility for your actions and pay the man his due. And then your GF makes a nice little purse out of your scrotum.

Yeah, Okay...I guess its a stupid question.
I'll pay for it...I do want a Trygon, just didn't expect to win it so soon and when my finances are a bit tight. I'm still curious what happens when you don't pay for something though.

You get a Non Paying Bidder report filed on you.
Just tell the seller and see if you can cancel things so he gets his fees back.

Its way not cool to bid and don't pay for stuff. I mean why even bid if you weren't going to buy it and secondly why even post showing how much of a wally you were lol. If your interested on how much stuff goes for add those items to your watch list and see how much it ends on.
I seel stuff on Ebay and it's very annoying when this kind of thing happens.
Anyways, moan over, How much did it go for? Is it unpainted? Is it assembled? I may buy it straight off you depending on the answers to these questions that is of course if you wanted to sell it. If you can provide a picture that would be cool.
