Out of all the armies, which would be the "least" numerous. Like which has the most "elite" type units that are totally outnumbered almost all the time. I started painting and assembling some orks and... after 20 boys I'm kind of wanting to make a switch to an army that I can focus more on each individual unit.

First of all, LAZINESS MUST BE PURGED! RARARARAAAH! Secondly, Space Marines (Especialy Deathwing), and possibly Eldar are elite and as such would have smaller numbers.

I would say Space Marines, but any specialist Chaos Space Marines (IE Not Undivided) can be easily outnumbered by them. Oh, and if you want to go with a weird, cheese-tastic list, Space Wolves are capable of running 13 models at 1500 points.

Yeah Orks can be a test of ur patience, if you have allot of free time Orks is a cool army to paint. As for which army has more Elites, it would depend on the points being played, but I agree which those above that SM are probably the most elite.

I believe so. Haven't seen the list myself, but it's essentially Logan + 12 Wolf Guard. I think at least half of 'em have Storm Shields for the 3+ invulnerable save.

Oh, and sorry for my wording, cheese is the wrong word. Silly is more like it. Apparently someone who ran it whupped some Ork butt with it, nothing else.

That doesn't sound too hard to beat. Throw enough firepower at anything and sheer number of saves will make it die. Not like there is much to split fire between.

Tau suit heavy armies can be quite small.

From memory minimum troops then suits and tanks gives you a 1000 point list with about 21 models and 3 tanks.

Grey Knights. Our basic troop choice costs 25 points, and they suck, so you'll want to move up to the Terminators, which, although awesome, are close to 50 points per man.

Deffwing - two Ork Warbosses, and two units of Meganobz. Slap em both in battlewagons and you're all set! Alternately dreadbash. Two Big Meks, two Deffdreads (they can take one Deff Dread as troops each) and 9 killa kans.

If you want an army where all the units are expensive in points (and money) I would suggest pure GK or deathwing. Deathwing is probably better as if you want to expand you have all the other models available to the chapter. A deathwing army would be looking to field an independent character and 6 squads of 5 strong terminator squads in a 2000 point game roughly. Works out at just over 30 models in a 1000 point game. You could probably get a land raider in there to!

Yea but take some demons up against them and try joking around about looking cool. Pure grey knights will just slaughter in the right games. But yea, they do look pretty damn cool

Despite all the "dying breed" fluff, Eldar are certainly not one of the "least numerous" armies. I'm a SM player, my friend plays eldar (plenty of nice, expensive Aspect Warriors. Banshees, Hawks, Reapers etc.) and he generally manages to have about double the number of soldiers I have.

Another friend of mine plays IG, we went in a doubles tournament together not so long ago, his army consisted of 27 models. There were actually more SMs on the field than Guardsmen.

He had 2 Veteran Squads with autocannon and Forward Sentries, a CCS with an autocannon, banner, medic etc, and 2 Leman Russes.

Orks can have a reasonably effective army consisting of 22 models that can cost from 1.5 to 2k pretty easily (nob bikers. How many Powerklaws and upgrades is how expensive the unit gets.) 2 HQs (warbosses on bikes) and 2 troops (nob biker squads taken as troops thanks to warbosses.)

Precisely why it's a silly list. I have only once seen it win - although it was partly out of a ragequit and playing against Necrons. My 1250 Wolves list (Running 10 Wolf Guard, Logan and 2 Land Raiders) whupped a Necron list that tried to diversify. The ragequit came when he decided to sit in the back, do exactly dick to the Raiders, and get frustrated when 5 Wolf Guard ran 20-something Warriors and 2 Necron Lords off the board. Which, at 18 points a model plus the Lords, was about half his entire army gone in one Assault phase.
