Thanks for this! I basecoat the skin with Graveyard Earth and then apply the Dwarf Flesh. I highlight with Bleached Bone. I'm a bit short on paints, so do you think this works well enough? I have all the paints here except for Elf Flesh and Liche Purple.

Mix regal blue 1:1 with dwarf flesh in place of the purple. You will like the results
LunaHound wrote:Does the flow aid help with it coating smoothly?
because i know my dwarf flesh doesnt cover ANYTHING like yours -_-
Aye. The water flow aid mix is all I use to dilute my paint and the amount of control gained from it vs tap water sold me on the stuff. I don't paint without it.
The flow aid breaks surface tension. And distilled water has no chemicals in it like tap water. Tap can cause "fish eyes" and disrupt the flow aid properties.

"Flow aid"? he asks naively, never hear of it....[thinks] could this be where I'm going wrong? I was going to try 'Klear' floor polish (diluted) as I've hear that works.
Oh BTW, sorry, great job and thanks for the tip.

Excellent tutorial! Simple and has fantastic end results!
FTR what type/brand of brush are you using? It certainly looks smaller than GW's Fine Detail, which is what I use, and I'm looking for smaller brushes.

Just got your weathering pigments in the mail. Cannot wait to try them out.
Good speedy service too. Consider me a regular customer.

Thanks a lot for the Tutorial Les. It has really helped quite a bit. I consider myself a pretty mediocre painter but I am actually pretty happy with my efforts following this process.
I went with the blend of Regal blue and dwarf flesh and was really happy with the shade it created.
Thank you again.
Cheers,
~Volkan
